  1. Arh, I would if you were in Queensland or Western Australia
  2. Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone bought this skyline that was on carsales the owner says it was sold. Just wanted to find out who as it and if they are willing to sell it to me? Thanks http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...=2&__Nne=20
  3. OMG.....That is what you call a pimped out engine bay. I thought it was just the light until I read down more. Thats crazy.....
  4. How much?
  5. Ok, will keep a eye on this thread then or you can PM me.
  6. Sold?
  7. why no RWC?
  8. Someone beat me down if I'm wrong but, turbos usually kick in at certain rpm's. It can be changed when it comes into spooling up by adjusting the actuator (I think) ??? Something along those lines. So basically, if you put your foot to the metal to the other metal it's going to take off. In general though they don't usually kick in much until you get into high revs.
  9. Avoid them
  10. Isn't it because the GTRs are turbo and the super cars arent?
  11. Back on the topic, how much does it cost for this wastegate thing to happen? Is it very hard to do? Thanks
  12. Neither, I'm to poor. 2008 GTR
  13. Love it.....$$$$?
  14. Yeah ok I see where this is going, thanks for your help on the wastegate thing, as those who stayed to the topic it was much appreciated. Mods can lock thread if they want. Thanks
  15. Cool, ah it's just because I'm a inexperienced drive and would rather ease the boost of rather than start off with it fully boosted. It depends if I'll do it. If I can control the power than it will be fine and I'll just leave it.
  16. Girgor sent me a PM today saying about this. Anyone ever heard of this being done? I think this is how it goes.... Open the wastegate on the turbo and the exhaust gases should go out of that instead of spinning the turbo which stops making compressed air and results in the slowing/disabling of the turbo? Does this work? Does it do damage to your car in any way? What is it like when the turbo does kick in if even? Any info would be great as I'm a little confused Thanks
  17. Ok cool, thanks for all your help man.
  18. Bahahahhahahah Wow these things aren't cheap
  19. OH, forgot about this topic I made . I will drive responsibly Spunky Munky (believe me the last thing I want to do is conform to the typical idiot P-Plater Hoon), the thing is though my parents are concerned. Uuummm.....where to begin..... Ok, Scathing said in a post above: "Alternatively, you can get some GPS/tracker systems which SMS' back to base (or a mobile) when speed thresholds are exceeded. It won't stop you from speeding, but your old man can know immediately when you do and give you a very angry phone call...followed by a grounding or something." I really like that idea, I've googled around a bit but can't find many that are like you describe. Any idea's anyone on where to get one of these? Maybe a link? Secondly To all that welcomed me with their help on this thread, I thank. I have so far enjoyed my stay here and look forward to a long term membership
  20. I've had a look on google and it came up with this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driver's_...stern_Australia But what I'm after is the vehicles that they are allowed to drive, say if someone was on their P plates.
  21. Ok, thanks. So there isn't even a website for each state?
  22. Hello all, I know that the laws for cars are different in every state and what not, but I was just wondering is there a website or something that I'm missing that tells you what or what not you can drive?
