  2. There would be only a handful of 89/90 GTR's that would still be running around on the same engine that they came to Aus with. And just about all of them are genuine low km cars with logs and service books. The rest have been thrashed and this is shown by the large number of those for sale and/or with new rebuilds.

  8. My best friend is considering trading in his 350Z for a Murano. We'll be going for a test drive soon. He's gone from a black R32 GTR, to a black 350Z and now to a black Murano.
  9. Only while working on your car or spectating
  10. Yes, I did omit a few things as I did it quickly, but the end price isn't that far off the calculations. wrxhoon as more of an exact idea as he actually went to Japan looking to buy a NUR. Either way, it will cost $150K+ for a NUR to be ready to drive on the road here (thanks to the govt's lovely taxes). Personally, Instead of the $150K for a genuine NUR I would buy a regular R34 GTR that is already here for half the price, then spend the balance modifying the socks off the thing.
  11. On top of this you have to pay the relevant state registration and stamp duties (3% in NSW).

  14. The blue [NUR] R34 is a neighbour of my cousin so I will have a talk to him next time and see what the story is. Would like to have some more knowledge about the differences before I do that though. Thanks for the offer. I won't trouble you with it - that is what Google is for.
  15. What are the basic visual differences in identifying a genuine NUR, Jerry?
  16. Thanks Jerry. The badge and plates are a disguise then. Nissan FAST doesn't lie, huh? I am pretty sure that this came up in another thread before but I can't seem to find it. Maybe the question posed should be how many genuine NUR's are there in Australia? They still fetch a decent penny in Japan.
  17. Why do people decide to get married on days such as Qld Jamboree and the Putty Rd Cruise?
  18. Its called the Meccano lights and is at the intersection of Woodville Rd and the Hume Highway in Villawood/Lansdowne.
  19. There is a blue V Spec II NUR in the Parramatta area of Sydney. Is that one of the 3 u know of SW20-GT?
  20. Tape up some thin plastic covering to the rear quarter behind the wheels.
  21. You would expect the HPI website to also not be 2 months behind Although MSRB26 and TWO06L's times were in there not very long after the drag day. I have always preferred for records lists to also include the date on which the time is run, but none of them do this.
  22. None at all, yet. The place that it is at is "busy", so might have to change garages.
  23. Practice makes perfect.....and some more power never hurts
