u could cut and weld the coilover to the strut so keep the std brake/hub set up. save stuffin around with s13 hubs etc. but yea stuck with crap brakes...

not just the difference in the turbos? dude i no has rb25 turbo on his rb20 hr31 and made very different induction sound. very similer 2 my mates stockish r33 (no pod). dont mean that induction sound? but yea just throwin idea round...

ah i met phil on some small r31 meet yr or so ago. car looked ace. my mate did end up supercharging his but now turbo (l24et) mines not far behind either now that the r31 is defected. he still got his r30???

sorry o/t. shit man just saw it, that sounds ace set up. no idea u were building up a DR! wanna have a look at it 1 day so can work out wtf is goin on with mine! dr30 chassis number but all L series gear in it lol...

yea but not as easy as just droppin the head on there. need 2 make up cam belt tensioners etc and probs aftermarket ecu cos dunno how 25 one would go with 3ltr bottom end. theres a big write up on it in tech section...

has his got FJ20ET still in it? no major issues? what state r ya in? looks mint man...

ah k, cheers mate. yea just dont wanna sort those wires out lol was out front of a mates place the other day and on its own left high beem turned off then came bak on. so might try another stalk as well. c what happens...

yea rip head off and take it 2 a reco joint and get it check out. might just need machine. or if its stuffed easy as 2 find another head for a rb30. wreckers etc. make sure get it cracked tested b4 putting it on tho cos pain in the ass if have 2 do it all again. should only cost max $500 for 2nd hand head + gasket (go oem nissan gasket) + crack test etc. can pick rb30's up for $200 these days as well...

my dash lights dont work at all as well now. any ideas? i hate electrical problems lol

having some problems with lights in my mr30. it has an alarm and when i got the car all worked fine but couldnt turn the alarm off (busted remote). i dunno what clown wired it up but doesnt really matter cos goes off for 5-10sec then just stops. can start the car etc all fine. mass mess of wires in the right kick panel as well. ive had the head off the car and after put all back 2gether the head lights were stuck on high beam. so thought it was something with the alarm (i replaced a blow fues that i found) so pulled out 1 fuse think was main power (6 fuses all up) and now its stuck on low beam. even tho the hi beam dash light is still on. also when i put the hazard lights on only the right side work, but indicators work fine (both sides). checked all the earths etc. but is there any sorta hidden earths that i have forgot? main earth from battery to chassis to block and 1 on the rocker cover. replaced the relays in the fuse box. theres 1 on the left strut tower but no idea what thats 4. any help would b gd cos gonna need the car on the rd soon. cheers...

rb30 and l24 do not run the same injectors. look the same yes (hose tail) but l28e injectors r 188cc and rb30's r 204cc by memory. and l28 injectors r bigger then l24 injectors. mate with his l24et is running rb30 injectors and vl fuel pump. 10psi bout 120rwkw. no leaning out issues anymore...
