All, I have run into a snag with compliance of my R34 Vpec II. The car has new brake pads on it but they are not orriginal. RAW specify that before I comply the car it must have new std pads on, to meet the compliance braking requirement. Appartently the Vspec II has an upgraded rear brake and obviously they are not easy to get. Please let me know where I might be able to get a front and rear set. I have tried the usual places and I have only found that it will take 1-2 weeks delivery and $1000 per set, but I need them this week. Any ideas will assist! Thanks

Prank, I think I might stay with the STD VSPECII suspension which has to be on the car for compliance anyway. I will wait and make that call once I get to drive the car, I will put a trade plate on it and take it for a spin with the HKS on it just to get a feel. SW20 GT, Im bringing it in myself and getting a complier to put the plate on it.

mesh, No, I will probably go for the GTSS's after the GTRS experiance, they are not suited to what I need out of my car. Fatz, Im waiting for a report back on my STD turbo's then we can talk the sphincter of the universe on the GTRS's. 2rismo, The suspension is, HKS HiperMax II suspension, and you are right they are not in car adjustable, the car did have the Tien in car adjustable at one stage

I have access to a standard R34 GTR for the airbox, exhaust and a bonnet if needed. I will let everyone know how it all goes. The STD suspension is in the boot so no issues there. Vspec II's replaced Vspec I's after March 2001. Compliance will be between $5500 and $7000 depending on a lot of things. Fatz, She's a sick looking B!tch, cant wait to be behind the wheel. After almost 4 years with the white one, im really looking forward to drive something new and different. Do you think I will be hard to find on the road? Although there is a lot of R34's around today. Hopefully not to many Vspec II's with carbon bonnet and gold wheels! I love the Apexi like HUD, see below. This was a nice supprise, will help a lot on track days, as will the bonnet, it will help keep the temp down once I get the KW up!

Well ladies, I have not been on the forum of late, my new job and new baby have meant I have virtually zero time on my hands any more. The good news is, my R34 Vspec II is just about here, I expect if off the boat in about 1 week. Compliance is all t'ed up and I cant wait. Below are some pics of black beast. Mods: Pods, exhaust, HKS in car adjustable suspension, Dry carbon fibre bonnet and WEDS 18" wheels, additional computer module. I have a PFC, boost kit and INJ on the way as well. I want to do some other mods but that is another thread. See out on the roads real soon. I might come on a cruse once I have her complied.

No, I dont think you can do much with physic's. I have a R34 VSpecII coming in from Jap, should be here in the next month. I am not waisting time or money on the R33. I will probably for R34 N1's on the R34.

All, I dont mean to get involved with this whole fight, but I do feel I need to step in and lay down some experiences that I have with Judd. I have had serval dealings with Judd over the last 2 years. By the way I have only know Judd through this Forum. 2 years ago I had an issue with my ECU, and I posted up "Need to swap a STD GTR ECU" Judd PM'ed me, and was happy for me to borrow his stock ECU to get me out of trouble. When I returned the ECU he would not even accept a 6 pack of beer to say thanks. 6-8 months ago, Judd offered assistance in getting some parts. I decided to buy 2 GTRS turbo's off Judd. Firstly before I bought the turbo's I did all my research on the web (15min worth), to ensure they would fit the STD manifold, if they were Ball Bearing, top / bottom mount, gaskets etc. Once I knew exactly what I was buying (verified with part numbers) I transferred the money to his account. The turbo’s arrived the same day Judd said they would. PS I kept the $5k difference from Judd's price and Croydons price. Im now using Judd to facilitate a buy of a 2001 VSPECII, through his contacts in JAP. Judd has proven to me, that he is helpful and reasonable and I have no issues in dealing with him. In addition he is now insisting that we get solicitors involved to help protect him self against helping people. Judd is putting in writing that he is personally commercially liable for the quality of the car once it arrives in OZ and I that I will fulfil my end of the deal and pay once the car does arrive. I know that this world is full of dishonest people but from my dealings as explained above, Judd is not one of them. Im off my soap box now, everyone have a good day. Thanks

All, Thanks for the kind words all, the little fella is nearly 4 weeks old now, and going strong. The mother in law is busy making GTR bibs and stuff for the man. I would love that little R34 how do I get one, it will be fantastic for track days! Druncan, the R34 is still on the aggenda, Im currently looking at a 2002 Vspec
