Gents, Thanks for the info, but but adding to that did the R34's change the sump baffle from the R33? Or did they leave the oil issue?

Rev, Thanks for yor input, but I have to challenge the Ball Bearing part. I have had my R33 GTR turbo's re-built by garret and I have a set sitting right in front of me, and they are not ball bearing, they are brush roller bearings (I think thats what they call them). But thanks for the info on the R34.

I have heard some points of view but no one can confirm, have Nissan fixed the sump baffle issue by using one on the VspecII. Some people have told me yes and other said no. If anyone has experience or access to Nissan stats please let me know. Thanks

I have had lots of input but no one can confirm if my R34 Vspec II Std turbo's do or do not have steel wheels. If anyone can confirm this or if you have access to nissan statistics please let me know.

I went to UAS's recomended Diff place near windsor. I have a diff noise that is not bearings, he told we what it was but in one ear and out another. He suggests it may be due to aftermarket bushes or a gear problem, so its booked in next week to be checked before ripping it out.

Easy answer. To comply my new R34 I had to put the STD suspension back on the car to get it complied. The person I bought the car off had just had them put on and kept the original VSPECII ones. The car is low enough and hard enough with the more aggessive STD VSPECII ones so I saw no need for the upgade and the car cost a little more then expected so the additional cash would be nice. As a side note, I have to do 22 speed humps at least 2 times a day to get in and out of my work car park, so low suspension does not suit my day to day needs. But! the car does look heaps better when it was lower! see the pic below

($1500) NOW $1100 for the 800Km old HKS supension that came with my R34. I have been told they will fit the R33. These suckers are brand new, fully adjustable. Check out the HKS site for the tech data.

Yeah, I currently have MADGTR on there, although Im not sure about changing the good old OzGTR. I might ask the admin people if they can simply change my name by removing the 97V off the back.

Well I have my first real issue with the R34, the diff has become a tad noisey with a bearing hum. I have put in the redline Red diff oil, and it seamed to make it worse, so Im looking for a place to get the diff looked at and hopefully repaired. Any suggestions? I would like someone who knows GTR diffs as I dont want to have it f'ed up.

Std Dumps ->- I had a 3" Apexi front pipe - >-a 2.5" cat ->- 3.5" high flow race exhaust. Those crazy japs I have since replace the 2.5" cat with a 3" 7.5lt cat and a small piece of pipe to a 3" straight through muffler/resonator and left the back half of the 3.5" race exhaust. The car dropped about 5-8db and I picked up a little bit of mid range. At least I can use the phone in the car now, and even hear myself think.
