  1. But both you and I know you are, correct?
  2. The R32 is non too shabby either, as I said prior, there is nothing like a track car that can hold their own with a show car!
  3. fatz, Your a spanka!
  4. Well I must say I was very surprised when my car was announced as the winner, I honestly thought CYIFLY would take out the R34 category, but it was justified that he did win the best exterior, it was a sweet looking car. I would like to pass on a big thankyou to the organisers, judges and sponsors, and I think they were well rewarded with a huge turn out. Merli, I was wondering if you could post up the top 10 cars for each category and also the actual marks and what they were graded against. This will give an idea for people next year what to work on, if they want to give it a real go! I have a feeling that there was some strong focus on Go Fast bits, as there were a lot of winners with Modified cars. Anyway thanks again, it just goes to show track cars can still be appreciated for some show value as well. I also promise to put the drive day voucher to some good use! Thanks
  5. wrxhoon, Nice time, I think with the clutch you should bed down a flat 12. I will be there once I get my clutch in. What tyres did you run?
  6. John, Any news on those PIC's?
  7. It was a kodac moment this morning, I was curising down the Gorehill FW at 7am, and pulled up beside a very nice yellow R34 V-Spec. I like the yellow it is very eye catching!
  8. Turn it up John!
  9. That would be you and I in the third one John! How do I get some pics of the R34?
  10. Drunkan, What time did you arrive. I was there for the first 3 sessions and then had to shoot home for some "Family Time". I had a good day, it took 3 sessions before I settles in. John well done a good day, perhaps next time we could have less admin time and more track time. Aim to have the cars on the track by 9am. I dont think we started until almost 11?
  11. I will make a early brief appearence. See you all there. Drunken, I look forward to finally seeing the yellow dragon working!
  12. Zane and I will most likely be there. If we miss you we should catch up. Im bringing my little boy so he might make me a little late.
  13. Tommyk, No I did not, I know I should have while it was so close, but time got the better of me. I have my one for sale at the moment. I paid $650 for it. Its a Tomie 1mm kit with the head, inlet and outlet plus a head restictor. I have returned it to UAS, they will eventually sell it, but if you want it $600 and its yours. PM me your number if you are interested.
  14. The Tomei kit is now with UAS for $650. I will still honour the $600 price if you come to me directly.
  15. Yeah Im happy with everything I upgraded and the outcome from the tune. I don’t think I would change anything im very happy with the product. 225kw at all 4 with 10psi is great. My daily drive setting is not only safe (for the engine) but dangerous (for me and my licence). It is nice to have a kick ass amount of go fast, but at the end of the day its silly on the roads. I squeezed out a little bit of power out of the toll gates on the M2 this morning. 2 quick pushes on the pedal, look down 160Km/hr. If there was a cop around bang $1k+ and no licence. Anyway that’s why I had a sump baffle and oil coiler put on. Im going to give it a good go at the UAS track day on the weekend!
  16. I was in melb about 5 years ago and watched an R32 on a tafe dyno do 175kw @all 4 and then RWD did 210kw. CRD has done this before and I accept his statement as he has no reason or gain from bullshitting about it. The difference between his dyno is about 50kw between RWD and 4WD. Its a free country so make your own opinion and leave it at that.
  17. Im looking to either change my exhaust or buy a new one, so if anyone wants my old one let me know. Its currently on my GTR so you get to hear it before you buy it. From the header pipe is has a 7.5lt high flow 3" cat, then a high flow 3" resonator to a medium size Jazma RO muffler with 4" tip. It sounds nice but I prefer it a little quieter. Let me know if you are interested. This the only pic I have, let me know if you want close ups and I will take some. Price NEG
  18. Tomei Brand New metal gasket kit for rb26 still in packaging includes - Tomei Supergrommet Multilayer Metal shim head gasket 1mm -Tomei Metal intake and exhasut gaskets. -Tomei Oil restrictor Comes with original purchase receipt Can email pictures $600 Have just paid $650 for it but did not use it.
  19. CRD shared his experience with me. Switching an R32 with around 300Kw at all 4 to 2 wheel drive adds about 50kw on his dyno.
  20. Yes, just driving around on the 11lb setting is fun. Kabab has been for a skirt in the car, it was wet and very scary
  21. I agree, but they are needed to close down that gap. There is no doubt your figures are great but I just wanted to qualify the "similar setup" comment. Thanks
  22. Marko, You do have cams and air pods dont you? My FMIC was also crap apparently.
  23. UAS only have a RWD dyno so no 2 wheels
  24. I found this old dyno from the R33. Below is the mod list but it really needed cams to get the GTRS's to do anything. GTRS turbo's Power FC & Hand controller Power FC boost Kit FMC custom 720mm x 360mm x 72mm 3" June exhaust HKS cam sprockets 550cc Inj Oil Cooler 3 Core Brass Radiator Sump Baffle Head restrictor Metal head gasket 3000lb brass button clutch
  25. Marko, I used to own a white R33 v-spec with GTRS's, its now owned by mik. I now own a R34 VspecII with GTSS, check out the inital post for the complete kit list. I used CRD due to Kabab with cheese's recommendations as he had a good outcome with his GTSS's. My first option was to use UAS, I had my R33 done there them and I was happy but a retune on the same car by Bel yielded heaps more power. I then wanted to use Bel, but I had a friend with a not so positive outcome and had a re-tune with JEM who said he was the best. Kabab then highlighted the difference between JEM and CRD. Im sure if I had UAS re-tune my car they could get more, but opinions about tuner's are like a$$holes, everyone has one. At the end of the day $650 for a CRD tune with dyno included was not offensive and I followed your's and kababs positive outcomes.
