Holly Sh!t 1:05 is quick. There are 12 cars running <1:15 and a couple of GTR's to boot, so that should make the under 1:15 a good one to watch. Im really looking forward to it. Its my first full drive day in the black beast, new brakes and new clutch and nearly 300Kw at the wheels It should be fun!

Abo, I assume the A1 and A2 classes drive together? If yes then from the looks of it, you and I will be in the same session. Its hard to tell from the list how fast some of the rotory guys are, have you been out with them before?

Abo Bob, I have a couple of questions. 1. A CAMS L2S should be enough to negate the need for a wakefield Licence correct? 2. Can you have passangers on the day? My wife might come and wants to do a session or two. 3. Whats the cost for 1 car and 2 drivers? 4. Will we be having a seperate SAU group or just a mix? Thanks

I spent some time thinking about this and I feel this is a commercially viable outcome for both UAS and SAU. A win win for everyone And likw Merli pointed out, I just wanted to go for a squirt after the last SNS and the F2 with a 17month old in the back was not the place. Oran park is though!

Busted, Mate again I think you missed the point, YES the Oran park car park is free! UAS (Unique Auto Sports) would be running a track day at Oran at the proposed SNS date for next year. UAS will allow SAU to use the car park for the SNS. The idea has already been discussed with John (UAS owner) and as one of the SNS major sponsors, he was happy to support the club yet again. Participation for all SAU members at the track is optional, if anyone wants to spend the $200 and participate in the UAS drive day they are welcome to do so. As a bonus John was open to the idea of $30 so a single session, for first timers who wanted to experience the track.

Do you think its large enough? Last time I ran a skid pan day it cost $1500, how do SAU cover the costs? What if some one has a track day running do you think it will caose issues?

Buster, Do you have any other suitable locations in mind since Oran park is not your choice?

USA track days do all of the above if needed, I think people see the word track and get the wrong idea. Its just a piece of tar to drive on.

Its a show day, I would expect all cars of all types to be there.

Dont talk too soon about no drags. I did do a 200 M drag session with UAS one time down at wakfield. It could be organised! Track, Drag, Drift, I dont care as long as it is done safe and not on the roads.
