  1. I agree... get some custom forged Volks or Works made to your specs and then see who is a tight arse. im sure most people here could afford some cheap arse 22 inch fully hektic chromies off the shelf at tempe tyres but choose not to for many reasons.... one cos it looks stupid on any skyline, two cos the are heavy and slow you down, three - they are stupid. I reckon if that blue R33 had some polished Work Meisters in 19 inch it would look nice and tuff... but not with those wheels!
  2. I actually like it without the badge. And its not a fake... they like to call it "genuine imitation" over there. haha warranty's in the post!
  3. This was on Phuket Island... would be a mission getting it to Sepang in Kuala Lumper... mind you he probably has the dough to throw it on a plane and take it there! Yeah mate it was a hairy moment ill tell you that... I was going around a corner doing about 80 when i saw it. And it sure did make my day/trip! gotta admit though there was a couple of good straights and corners out of town where we maxed out the scooters at 105k's... so he could have a little bit of fun
  4. Here I was hooning on my scooter around Phuket Island with some mates when I glanced a White R35 GTR to the side of the road. Needless to say I almost got cleaned up by a car when I drifted into the oncoming traffic whilst looking at it. I have to say it looks way better up close than in photos... one horny ride. Dont know why you would bother owning one there cos you just cant drive it the way it wants to be driven from the traffic and shit roads. Couldnt find the owner but im sure he is the king of Phuket roads with this awesome car! I want one
  5. ill have to go and see if they still have my old loom at the workshop and see if something was done to the connections for the abs module. I just dont get it as it was all working fine and never had problems until the loom was changed?? I dont think anything else was touched. Where are these wheel sensors located? Maybe the one on the error code isnt plugged in. Also which ecu under the parcel shelf is the abs? I can only see the Attessa and Hicas ones on mine.
  6. Before you flame about starting another 4WD prob thread I have read everything posted about it but still need help. I have a 32 GTR and recently swapped my Tomei Reytek ecu for a D-Jetro PFC. The workshop had probs with tuning and eliminated lots of things including putting a new loom in. Now my car HASNT got ABS as it was removed by previous owner. So the ABS light is always on since i put a nismo cluster in( still have to pull bulb out of this one as i didnt think of doing it before i put it in!) Now after the loom swap the 4WD light is also on constantly and front torque is NIL. I just checked the error codes on the attessa ecu which came up with 2 flashes followed by 8... from what i found that means the Front left wheel sensor and ABS actuator motor is at fault. I need to know if anyone else has removed their ABS from their 32/33 GTR and had to do something to the loom or something else in the system to eliminate this problem. Im guessing you have to something to trick the ecu that the ABS is still there or something. ...any info would be great!
  7. I paid about $1150 for mine from nengun but took an eternity to get here... about 3 months! Is there someone in Mackay who can tune them cos they much different than the normal MAF PFC's. I need to find someone who knows how to tune it cos the guys I go to just cant tune the damn thing in the low revs... huge flat spot and a c*nt to drive. If anyone has a good tuner in Brisbane who does a good job please let me know!
  8. what turbo is in the photo? it has a T3 flange. and you say the exhaust housing is 0.7?? have u got that mixed up with the front cover cause they dont have one in that size??
  9. carbonfibre tailshaft?? now your just getting a little far ahead of yourself! no need to waste money on thermos, and lighter pulleys for tiny power gains... he is just after a qik daily street car not a race car. Those mods on the plan should see him into the mid 11's easily.
  10. Hey Michael, I would suggest you definately go the 044 in tank pump. I just wouldnt trust those walbro pumps by looking how small they are! You can get 044's for around $215 on ebay now so they arent too much more for peace of mind. and chuck a sard reg in... they are around $150 at the cheapest. And definately do the timing belt/ idler and water pump when you do the cam gears as it is a pretty big job as I recently did it all to mine. Hardest thing was getting the crank pulley off as my bolt was almost seized... but we got all the tools now. Get kev to buy you the pump and belt. I paid about $70 for a water pump and about $85 for a gates performance timing belt. Just get a 100mm justjap gtr upgrade intercooler... we are both using them and running good numbers without problems. Kevs old setup which is what your planning was good for 340kw so you should aim for around there. Glenn
  11. I got a 4 point in my GTR aswell with standard seats. I have used the rear seat belt anchors to attach the harness at the rear. ill try and find a pic
  12. i put a set of JustJap recaro copies in a previous car. definately dont hold in nearly aswell as the real recaros and arent as comfy. the universal rails are pretty crap and i didnt use them... just modified original rails. U will have to do some welding at some point to get them in. but for the money you cant complain... they are pretty cheap looking but thats cos they are cheap!! looking at the bride copies they look more supportive than recaros. personally, next time i will fork out the extra cash for the real thing as you cant compare them!
  13. man even lightly modded gtst's wont have shit on a stocko F6... until you start changing turbos of course
  14. sorry need the full engine loom from ecu pms replied
  15. As title says im chasing a complete wiring loom to suit R32 GTR Rb26DETT motor. Anyone has one Ill take it, will pay for postage interstate if need be. Im in Brisbane Glenn
  16. i run 235's on my 19x9.5" rims... purely for looks. i use 17x9's with 255 all round for track duites so im not fussed about performance when using stretched tyres on the street
  17. judging from some of the prices Ive been offered I think ill just get a set of adjustables... I thought I would of got away with it for like $50 plus post considering they would probably be a dust collector item but I guess not! So if anyone wants a quick $50 or so, let me know otherwise I think ill put the offers of $120-$200 for stockos towards a new fully adjustable set which are $265 delivered. cheers for the offers anyway
  18. nah the front ones a fixed, looks just like the stock ones but blue with more neg camber... you can get adjustables but they are like $300-400! Most rear ones are adjustable if thats what your thinking??
  19. As above im chasing a pair of standard ffront upper arms for a R32 GTR or gtst. not sure if the gtst ones are the same... i would think so though. i have Cusco ones and run more neg camber compared to my bro's 32GTR with stock arms. I dont like my inner tyres getting chewed up! In brisbane but will pay for post if need be. Please PM me if you have some! Cheers
