So when the mechanics drive my car it doesnt shit itself?????????? FFS! so where does that leave me? high and dry. the only thing i can do is.... what for it to happen again and make sure it happens at the mechanics? ill have to try and clean out the AFMs and check for damage.

ive got it booked into boostinoz stanbel rd. i was going to get him to fit the hicas lockout bar as well... coz thats annoying as f**k. o and i was going to get him to fit my boost controller as well.

well steve/damo pretty sure you guys were right about the AFMs. im about to pull them off and have a look now. My car cut out 3 times on the way home from work, pretty scary lol booked into the mechanics tomorrow morning, hopefully they can make heads or tails of it.

Hey guys i just bought a reel of 3/8 fuel hose (not injector hose - completely different) and im like only going to be using about 60cms of it so if any1 is going to be doing their fuel pump any time soon PM and ill cut ya off a bit cheers

this just in! my car just randomly stalled... twice? stopped at the lights... revs dropped and stalled, started it and did the same thing? i had aready been driving my car for about 15 minutes previous to this no worries. only difference is i didnt warm it up before i drove it. i normally warm it up for about 2-3 minutes. could that be the problem? this has happened b4, and i thought it was a fuel issue so i changed the fuel filter. any ideas?

after i got the fuel system down pat add the front and dumps?

its got a nissmo dash (24xxx) but before that was installed the clock was on 60xxx around there. but ben said when he bought it his mechanic checked out the turbos and they looked to be in good condition steve - yeh thems were my thoughts, ill be putting in a 040 this weekend and i was going to do the injector/fuel rail and regulator after. im swapping the spitfire packs out of my GTS-t in to my GTR this weekend as well. should get some good sparks/fuel pressure from that. Im pretty sure the fuel pump will be shagged because b4 i saw you guys at the villies on sat night i had to change the fuel filter lol. ran the tank near empty and has some fuel issues >.< nothing like working on your car at 8:30pm in the rain...

haha thats ok jess i knew making mods to the GTR was going to be costly but i was hoping there would be some things i could do before changing up the turbo lol. by the looks of it i dont have much of a choice lol so there is no way to change the ceramic wheels out for steel wheels? worth the time and effort?

So turbos first hey? how bad are the stock GTR turbos? in the way of letting go? how can i get the steel wheel 1's? is there a way to do a conversion? what about dumps and front? do that when i get new turbos? *edit* bens mechanical pulled the turbos off not too many kms ago to have a look and they are in good nick

the ecu has got a mines sticker on the ECU so im pretty sure itll have a different fuel map, and yeh its not running stock boost about 10-11 is my guess

thanks jess im pretty sure on its tune (about 10-11psi boost) ben said he rekons close to 210 maybe more, bens mechanic said it picks up faster than stock GTRs nah i dont have new injectors yet, i was going to get 600cc and a fuel rail all in the 1 hit? thoughts? i want about 250-270kw eventually, i wanna see how much i can get with out swapping out the turbos but want to eventually, maybe after my GTS-t sells. what are my options jess?

yeh i was reading up on the 5 million plumbing set ups for the catch can and sydneykid recons on the GTR its best to run the 2 hoses from the top to pipes on top of the rockets covers. best breathing setup apparently. but yeh your way would make things easier Sinful - yeh im hoping 1 size fits all lol. ill have to try and measure the holes i need to plug ^^ non sexual :S i just bought a 040 bosch pump to put in my GTR!!! yay then just found out its not much of an upgrade i couldnt get the search engine on SAU to work so i was flying blind if you will.

Any1 put in an oil catch can before? what did you guys use to block the holes? i read to use some threaded plugs? any1? cheers

i dont want to be in that club lol well i bought a 040 fuel pump, yep just figured its not rly much of an upgrade lol. ill just buy a 044 pump in the next few days
