  3. Where the TPS sensor is? cheers matt for the thought, ive had both AFMs reconditioned and my Auto Elec checked the coil packs im hoping its not a new ECU but if it is it will be a great weight off my mind lol

  7. Hey all, Ive been having some problems with my GTR and Ive tried everything on the forums relating to the problem and its still occuring. I cant trust the car enough to drive it down the road in fear of having to get it toed home. The problem consists of mainly No power, Cutting out, Not starting after cutting out. The car has been at my Auto Elec for the last week and he has tested my Ignition module and CAS, (bench tested) also done a fuel pressure test on my fuel pump. All came back peachy. I also got my AFMs reconditioned a week ago. My Auto Elec basically said to me he needs the car in the shop when it is completely dead and wont start again. He told me its not worth buying parts that 'could' cause the problem, for the obvious reason being money. I cant wait for that though as i depend on a car to get to work etc. If anyone has had this problem, something similar or even knows of some1 that has had this problem please throw me a bone. im at the end of my ropes..... if i cant fix it ill be buying a commodore ..... maybe not lol cheers joel.
  8. Had my CAS and ignition module bench tested and they are fine. plus reconditioned AFMs what else is left? Fuel pump and ECU? just to clarify though. if the fuel pump has shit all pressure would this throw the CAS off??? because when i died 1 night i called the RAA and he did the light bulb thingy on an injector plug and said the CAS must be damaged because there was no pulse BUT i had the CAS bench tested and it is fine??? cheers

  11. ill buy a pressure gauge tomorrow. the thing with the ecu is ill need it for at least a week to test it completely and god damn that fuel filter is right shit to change lol
  12. you mean the brass fitting on the line? it looks in working order. i have heard nothing good about the mines ECU so its got me worried :S i dry fitted a fuel pump in it not long ago and the stock pumped looked in good nick. can some1 clarify how to check fuel pressure?
  13. hey all im really hoping i can find some help here coz im out of ideas and i cant keep driving my car waiting for it to die, then toe it first time the car cut out it lost revs, i couldnt accelerate (non responsive) and the car stalled while i was driving. restared fine but took a few seconds for the accelerator to work again. week later it cut out and started but was spluttering and coughing then stalled (but then started fine, several times). days later it stalled and did not start for 30mins (twice). all times the car had only been driven for about 20mins. but car was warm in that respect. things ive done to fix the problem. -fuel filter -reconditioned AFMs -CAS and ignition module been bench tested. (by auto elec) -conections cleaned. A few mods on the car - cat back zorst, mines ECU. the problem hasnt re occured since ive been out of the auto elecs (3 hours) but im sure it will happen again soon. any ideas personal experiences would be much appreciated.

  19. Ive taken the rims off and put them on my GTR. Now has to stock front rims and to 18" 245 wide on the back. throwing in the GTR fuel pump for free on purchase. also has 2 months rego left on it. Price is NEG people throw me some offers people, need this gone!

  22. nice 1! how much did you pick the N1s up for? maybe ill keep my eye out for a pair. id love bigger turbos but forking out 2700-3000k for them +tune etc etc etc. i figured id buy the smaller things first, turbos last. lol atm just trying to get it running. ive sent the AFMs off to get reconditioned should get them back tomorrow hopefully
  23. so stock ECU then mike? im saving up for a Power FC atm. was going to go the turbos after the ECU only because it will be cheaper lol. 2860-5s is the path ill be taking i think. best for response i hear?
