i remember the second night i had my GTR and my misses wanted to go see a movie at Eliz shopping centre.... we get there and its packed as!!!! no parks anywhere near the doors "zomg good joel, just park we are gonna miss teh movie" so i just parked it, triple checked it was locked properly... when the movie was finished i literally ran out to my car! its was safe moral of the story.... never listen to your girlfriend..... your skyline is always first.... don't tell my missus i said that tho

ok cheers! the coil packs are like the only thing that haven't been replaced so far. How would i go about getting another loom? would that be something for the auto elec to do? 1 of the O2 sensors were smashed after the exhaust well snapped off at the shaft and flew down into my cat so it was replaced, shouldve got the other 1 done

also i just replaced the plugs (0.8 gap)

Hey guys, i need to borrow an R32 GTR Power FC for like 10 minutes. need to run a sensor diag on my car to make sure my sensors arent causing it to cut out pref this weekend if possible cheers

Ive had a random cutting out problem with my GTR for about 3 months now after it going in and out of the auto electrician and mechanic, ive had the AFM reconditioned, the CAS and ignition module bench tested (4 hours under a heat gun), the fuel pressure tested and swapped out a mines ECU for a stk ECU. all with about 4 day intervals, towards the end its was cutting out everyday with out fail. about 3 days after i got the stk ECU in my rear turbo blew so ive just got the car back with some new turbos in there. so havent really had time to see if the stk ECU fixed the problem. got the car back friday, did about 300kms over the weekend and it was fine until today.... (the weekend was hotter then today, incase you guys think it heat related) this morning the car lacked power mid range until i got boost, i thought the ol girl was cold? about 10 mins from home my car was rev hunting something fierce when i was stationary. also the exhaust was popping like crazy every time i gave it a bit of gas, now im not sure what causes the popping? missfire? to rich? i dunno... the symptoms that surfaced today are the same as when its going to cut out. please help me out here guys i dont know what else to do

the RB26 dyno results is some what helpful but in terms of response etc its not really helpful. im with some cs student god knows it would clear up a few threads lol.

interesting.... i also have this problem, my car idles at about 1300rpm but after reving it the revs drop slightly then go back up. I thought it might have been the AAC vavle??? i just had 1 O2 sensor replaced as my exhaust wheel smashed it to pieces lol, shouldve got my mechanic to replace the other 1.

dude go into like sprints or an auto shop (sprints is in SA, not sure about NSW) and ask for a VL water pump. RB20s bottom end is the same as a VL shouldnt cost too much, will be shit load cheaper then genuine

i might have my car back tomorrow with a pair of GT2860-7s in it!!! just waiting on a new O2 sensor then its all mine, should be in tomorrow!

first off if you have put a new ECU in you should let it idle for about 15mins i think, correct me if im wrong? but i rekon its going to be related to the tune that the ECU has already. When they chip ECU the remap the the fuel and air maps to suit the car that it is fitted to. the car it came off what mods did it have?

change the turbos while they are out, its a must! Ive just had mine let go i got lucky though because it didnt destroy my engine
