  2. hey bud, the wheel bearings come as complete units in a hub. where are you from? you can get the wheel bearings from CBC

  4. hey guys, my drive train is near completely kaput so im investigating some cheaper alternative options in regards to my gearbox and diff. i was wondering if it would be easier/cheaper for me to replace my Diff with a late model 33 diff? the transfer cases are the same? so the shafts are the same? so are the Diffs interchangeable? cheers

  6. on further inspection, my AFM2 sometimes will get as low as 0.98v? So below 1.00v and its will sometimes cut out? god damn AFMs suck.
  7. Yeh i was never a big fan of the oiled filters but i doubt ill have this set up for long as ill be replacing my AFMs with Z32s. thanks johnny ill try them tomorrow
  8. sweet as ruby if u end up finding it hit me up Ben your injectors will start maxing out at about 270-280 kws. your AFMs should be good for about 300-320kws tho. i think i might change my AFMs just because these old nissans ones are old as shit and on their way out.

  10. the mushroom types you can squeeze the stk tubing over the Z32s its just the pod kit you need to buy to suit the larger flange. to upgrade to Z32s and new pod kit itll be close to $1000 bucks
  11. Hey nismoid just wondering on how you went with the voltages? i thought my problem was related to my loom but i was wrong. Ive just replaced my bottom AFM with a spare i borrowed of a mate, but my voltages are different? im not sure what they were before though. so at the moment they read @ ~ 1400RPM (cold start idle) AFM1 = 1.20 ~ 1.23v AFM2 = 1.06 ~ 1.10v AFM2 is the "good 1" (if there is even such a thing as a good AFM) AFM1 is the 1 i've borrowed of a mate. now clearly those readings are no where near each other? and this is a problem? just curious the hear what some1 "good AFMs" are reading?
  12. i wouldn't use an apexi. i had 1 on my GTS-t and i was cleaning the AFM every month. i bought a $15 pod of ebay and didnt clean it for about 3 months... sprayed the AFM with electra clean and not a single black drop came out! to bad they dont make kits for GTRs on the other hand i cant find replacement foams for my hks pods i call around on monday
  13. hey guys as above, i need some asap. i got a pod kit today and i went to clean the foams and re oil and KAPUT! the outside of the foam is falling apart :S oh noes lol. so i need a new set by monday. any ideas?
  14. i had my AFMs recond about 4 months ago, "new internals".... so they said. turns out it wasnt my loom but my bottom AFM has failed at life. my Q. Go Z32 or nismo AFM? with a Z32 do i need to change my hole intake set up? will the Z32 fit into my rubber hose that goes to my turbinos? obviously the nismo is a direct upgrade but more expensive. cheers

  17. Just a quick reminder for you cats....... i work at CBC - Bearings and Seals is what i do. im looking into rebuilding/replacing my gearbox atm so i have looked into it. at work we sell gearbox overhaul kits which has every bearing you need in it, around $450-500 inc.

  19. I hear ya man... after ive replaced my G/box and Diff ill be looking into that oilling issue. As my rear turbo blew only 3 months ago ie. More boost, Rev limiting..... my oil pump will be on its way out shortly. hopefully i can replace the pump before my pump fails and bungs a bearing :S If im to replace the pump i may as well rebuild the motor to last another 100 thousand KMs.
  20. you'll need an after market ECU to run a Z32 AFM.

  24. hey all, my gearbox and diff are on their way out. with recently upgrading with some power mods i dont want to blow my gearbox up. I dont want to pay for a brand new G/box and ive heard reconditioning them can be just as expensive, so ill probably go with a 33 GTR box and get it converted from push to pull. with my diff though i'm unsure of what to do? will a 33 GTR diff fit? can i get it reconditioned? i dont want to replace my old box and diff with 2nd hand 32 gtr parts as they are as old as mine and almost all hammered lol cheers
