Mark if you dont want your GTR hard pipping hit me up lol Turbo timers just cause problems when the police come over for a chat about your car. its not that hard to sit in it for an extra 40 seconds before you turn it off ;p At the end of the day it seems easier to try and get along with the police then prove who is right.

unfortunately this problem can mean a number of things :S i have and am still having similar problems with my car. ive checked all the common things, CAS, Ignitor pack, AFMs, ECU etc.... only just now months down the track (taking the car to a different mechanic) my problem could be in the ECU loom if the pump thing doesnt fix your problem dont give up!

i have always been suss of the pillar gauges and how they are different to some1 GPS system or like a taxis job screen??? it would seem a GPS system would distract you alot more then a glance of your water temp. debatable indeed.

As a rule of thumb, anything off eBay that doesn't have a popular name on it, be careful? Im looking at getting a pod filter kit for my GTR and looking to get some Z32 AFMs for when i get my PFC. i came across this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=310122172146 Its well cheaper than the HKS and Greddy kits. Are these hard to fit? and where do you put the P/S resivour?

are u using stk turbos? or aftermarket? aftermarket turbos with stk ecu can cause problems

if it was a boost leak then i rekon the problem would be more consistant? under the car, in the middle somewhere maybe? although i think its linked with the sudden drop in revs and it might be jolting the shaft from the transfer case to the diff?

yeh they were the first things i did. recently put a R34 gtr fuel pump in there.

I thought i had solved my random "engine/power cut" problem, but now something similar has just surfaced... To fix my problem above i had every sensor tested AFMs Reconditioned and an stk ECU installed (to replace mines ECU). The problem was the ECU. for the last 3 weeks its happened 3 times and gotten worse every time. last time i was cruising, in 3rd or 4th (2-3000rpm). I hear like a "clunk" noise? From underneth then my Revs go from 3000rpm to almost 0 then back up then down up down up down. while this is going on, me reving has little if not no affect on the cars Hunting??? up and down until eventually i stalls. i start the car again and will hunt for a bit then die, or idle incredibly low @ 1000rpm (normal idle is 1400rpm) after 10 minutes the car is fine... in the last 3 weeks if had a while alignment, a new clutch installed and a Greddy Boost Controller installed and tuned (low 12 high 15) Mods Everything is stock 2860-7s Cat back zorst Im in struggle town guys i need some help here. cheers

Cheers duncan. The tuner did mention that my injectors would be the first thing to hold me back. He sugested 700cc injectors? also ive just put an R34 GTR fuel pump in so flow should be ok? if i can squeeze more power out of it with a few more minor mods then ill have to consider them Also should i consider Front pipes? hi flow cat? Im pretty sure my cat is in a bad way since my ceramic wonders blew and the exhaust wheel got lodged in there :S

Im thinking about getting my stk ECU remaped at Boostworx (SA) i spoke to the tuner there (shaun), he said i just be able to see about 280kw on stk injectors depending on how well my exhaust flows? mods: 2860-7s Cat back. boost controller. im interested to see if any1 has had any good bad experiences with GTR remaps? remap or different ECU? power FC? cheers

ive got a similar problem. except mine does it in 3rd 4th at about 2-3000rpm. i could notice it more when i got my new turbos put in. ive been told my car runs lean and the timing retards which causes like a jerking sensation, only for a split second or while im "cruising" and my revs are floating from 2-3000rpm. correct me if im wrong. hopes this helps

Ever since ive had my GTR (about 9 months) ive always had the vibration shudder at low revs, im not sure when the clutch was last changed so i figured its a mixture of warped flywheel and hammered clutch, so ive nursed it until i had the cash to buy and new clutch kit. today i got a wheel alignment and im pretty sure when they moved my car onto the ramp they absolutely thrashed the shit out of it to get it up there! on the way home, at about 3000rpm first gear there was a clunk noise (too hard to tell where it was coming from) and i lost my revs and i my accelerator was non responsive????? i nursed it home big time, at one set of lights the car was hunting for a short period, 5-10 seconds???? im going to take it into the mechanics on monday and get them to have a look, but in the mean time does any1 have any ideas? cheers
