  1. Yeah, money's not a problem.. im just doing a bit of research now for when it comes time to do the job.. Is autronic better than say, apexi pfc, ems motec etc etc.

  3. I just want to ask a few questions.. 1. What horsepower will a r32 driveline handle? I have a brass button clutch, so the clutch has been looked after already.. Im thinking around 400hp at wheels is what my car will have when im finished... 2. With this amount of hp, what sort of management system should i run? I was thinking standard comp.. aftermarket comp.. what would be the best for the job? 3. Where is the hicas fuse? If there is a fuse? Or, how do i kill the hicas, with out the lock kit? eg, for quick squirts on the track. Thanks guys.. hope the questions dont seem silly.. and that i have this post in the right thread!
  4. How do you get access to the oil pressure switch? i know where it is located.. havent seen it yet.. but im going to install an autometre gauge.. just wondering how to get to it.. And also.. what do you mean by installing a guage at cylinder no.6? Do you mean tapping into the block with a barb etc with the oil guage running directly off that? Cause im thinking of running two gauges.. with the hp were looking at running.. i want to keep exact track of my oil pressure.. Also, the oil pressure light on the dash, how does that work? i was thinking of making a seperate warning light which would be located on the pilar or whatever, to tell me of low pressure etc.. maybe locate it with cylinder no.6.. you get my idea? So, if pressure does drop.. it will indicate before damage could happen. thanks..

  7. Can you guys explain in more detail about the 6th cylinder? Im building up my rb20, and it will have bout 400hp at the wheels.. What problems lie in the 6th cylinder? Thanks guys
  8. where is the oil pressure switch? Can an auto metre oil pressure gauge be tapped into this line? Will the gauge show any reading if the original one doesnt move much?
  9. Which wire is the o2 sensor wire on the standard r32 ecu? or, which wire is to be used on the wiring at the o2 sensor? Thanks
  10. Mine does the exact same thing.. and i dont have that hks thingy..so i dont think its that.. ow that the ambient temps are warming up.. the car seems to be starting better..

  12. Thanks fella.. how diiferent is that to the r32 fuse box? where is the rear fuse box located? does the 32 have a rear fuse box? most of what you have there match with what i have, but not in the same order.. thanks for the help dude..
  13. yeah, thanks for the help dude.. but im fine fitting and setting up the correct sound stage in the car, just doing a bit of research on the project ahead.. I would personally use coaxial's over splits, but the quality of splits these days is very good. (that would be a good dicussion point there in itself). But anyways.. thanks for the help guys..

  17. Hey guys.. i was just wondering how you would go about removing your rear wing of a 32? I had a bit of a look at it earlier tody.. but it seems to not want to budge.. i do know that in the centre there is a screw plus a clip.. but i cant see on the outside's? Also.. the rear 'skyline' emblem.. do the 32's have illuminous one's? if not.. can it be done? i have ideas on how to do it.. thanks fellas..
  18. What size mdf have people used on this install? i think i have 1600 or 1800mm mdf? is that too thick? i dont want to go any thinner.. i want to create the best sound system i have done so far.. thanks..

  22. I didnt actually mean wrap the turbo with heat wrap, just the piping to the turbo. On my mazda, the intercooler is some 3 times as big as this silly nissan one, and thats standard aswell. so, i guess that might affect the comparision aswell.
  23. just a quick question.. Now that you have partitioned the air filter from the heat.. what about the pipe that goes to the turbo? wont that be absorbing the heat again? Why dont you wrap that with heat wrap? I did this setup on my other car(original box, with k&n flat filter, and larger intake pipe), and it seemed to run better with the heat wrap.. ?? any ideas?
