ive tried a 18x12 rimm with +10 offset.my guards were 3inches wider (75mm).the guards werent wide enuf by the way lol
-
done the same thing with my panels dont have pics but looks great and different.
-
im assuming it wont fit into the black moulded peice in the door. just trim it mate and drill new holes its what i did and they fit fine
-
depending which way you want your 6x9's it doesnt take much to make them fit. the guy who told you they cant fit is a complete idiot!!what i did with mine is just mount them diagonally like this / \ in the shelf. all i had to do was cut the parcel shelf. didnt use spacers ether. just placed insulation under the speakers to stop short outs
-
nice wheels. but one problem im from nz.
-
scratch that!forgot to take offset into account
-
just measured the wheels and width today. standard wheels measure 6.5 yea. the width of the guards measure 85mm so thats about 3.5 inches making a total of 10inches wide to fill the guards or am i missing something here??
-
hmm the offset the guy gave me said it was a guess as the 19's arent in the country yet. the offset maybe lower.i know they wont sit flush but will just have to wait and see how they look. and yea ill post pics when i eventually get them on
-
yea thats wat im afraid of.yea the use of spacers is a last resort but just want to make sure to see what they look like.
-
haha i intend to bud!
-
not quite sure what guards they are but definitly not dmax. mine measure 75mm all around or there abouts. ive kinda got my head set on them just hope they fit ok
-
yea they look really nice in person. ive tried 18x12 rimms (didnt fit) and 18x11 with a crazy offset of -19 these were about an each too wide. so i was thinkg spacers on these. hopefully there wide enough as i really like the style
-
hey peeps thinking of getting these rimms for my car if they fit. what do you reckon??from what i remember they measure in at: front:19x9.5 35+ rear:19x 10.5 35+ and this is the car theyll be goin onto... oh and any ideas on which rimms u think will look good let me know cheers
-
if you do get it. try not to go with the front bar, as its heavy as hell!!! the sides arent my cup of tea. much to his own i guess.my car has the rear bar on it but thats about it
-
how do i go about doing that??
-
sori ma bad
-
ohhhhh nooooo gutted! i feel for ya i know what it feels like to lose your car
-
not as stock as yours lol but im sure you get the idea.still trying to find rimms to fill the guards up.the fronts are still yet to be done
-
nah man definitly not the same. four door = shorter glass (since theres four doors) two door = longer glass (since its two door) and as mentioned above . . . four door = non - pillarless two door = pillarless
-
i duno about the no wing part... unless your goin flush bootlid of putting the duck/stealth/drift wing on it.stick with your first idea tho. the body kit will look alot better once its on your car, believe me
-
didnt somebody post a pic of it???? if your going tough yet sexy id say... do-luck front bar and what ever sides and rear bar. steer away from the veilside sides, they look shyte
-
well in my opinion u cant beat aggressive styling, not too over the top ie veilside and not to boring ie explosive kit. 400r is nice but way to common... this one is nice tho (Nismo R-tuned 400R bar with omori factory lip) but thats just my opinion. still your car your choice
-
not a fan of that particular kit, pretty similar to URAS
-
i agree with that one lol, myte as well leave it standard
