Hey guys i have a r32 gts-t with a diff that keeps singleing. I dont want to shim it cos ill just have to keep doing it then. I bought a r32 gtr diff a little while ago with the idea of getting some new shafts and chucking it in. But since then i have read that maybe this is not all i will have to do. Is anything else needed to make it fit? or can i just put the centre in my gts-t housing? Thanks for any help guys...

And also i cant drive the car cos front pannels are missing to fix them and i have no licence. I did also notice that when the vct started working - at the same time my idle became really rough and now hesitates and is rough when i accelerate. Why would this be?

Thats exactly wat i looked at. there was no black dot next to it. But i just tried it again then and now its working for some reason so very strange but its the first time i have ever heard the car turn the vct on (havent had the power fc long and havent driven it with the new ecu yet). So i put the stock ecu back in and the vct stopped working again. I could tell because the switch was getting no voltage and also the click didnt appear. Why do u think the stock ecu doesnt want to turn the vct on? But the power fc will?

I thought they had more different pin-outs than just the injectors... but maybe im wrong. I put my 33 ecu in my mates 32 and it didnt even start.

Hey guys i have the same problem in that my vct isnt coming on. I reved the car in both neutral and in gear with clutch in and still no clicking noise. My power fc says its not even sending the signal to turn on the vct and so the vct receives no voltage and i have tested this to make sure with a multimeter. Do u think that my neutral switch could be stuffed the other way, making the car think im always in neutral and so no vct? Also wheres the neutral switch both on the car and on the power fc so i can check?

I would also love to know this as i have a r32 with rb25 in it and i hear no clicking noice when vct should come on. Theres another noise but nothing like a click. And it still makes that noice when i disconect the vct plug. Any help would be great...

I have a 32 and removed the whole system. The car drives so much better. Pretty sure when i was reading that for a 33 you have to either remove the warning light from your dash or cut the wire going from your hicas ecu (under the parcel shelf) to the dash light. Someone correct me if im wrong. But leave the actual ecu connected or u will get heavy steering. Deffinately comes up when u search anyway.

Hey mate u sure are having a lot of problems with ya headlights lol. Just an idea - why dont u try not doing up the top bolt on the headlight that isnt snapped and see if u can wiggle it around. If it doesnt move then the broken one should be fine. Just an idea.

Yeah ur right i just checked them. Even though my H1 HID's fit in them, lol. They are H3 type though. My old GTR headlights were H1. My bad
