My mate thats helping me out did his car.. He said it wasnt the best job that he did because he had a buyer already for it so just wanted to get it looking good enuff.. It looked mint as he got 'Ferrari Red' color on his 32.. If it comes out anything like his did then i'll be happy He ended up paying: Paint - $350 Prep - $Free Spray from a Panel Beater friend of a friend - $750 Havent decided it all yet.. Still might go with Vu.. but i dont mind doing it myself since i guess it gives me something to do.. Can always get the panel beater to touch it up a bit if it is fcked.. But my mate knows what he's doing so it shouldnt be too bad

Hey guys.. Something is fcked with my car.. It was completely perfect till last nite when i booted it to 150km.. Since then whenever i go into neutral the car just shuts off.. The only way i can avoid is when changing gears rev it or change gears really fast and let go without holding the clutch in at all.. coz as soon as i push the clutch in the rev's just go all the way down and the car switches off.. Its pretty dangerous since i happend when i was going 50 down a small hill i usually go in neutral down a hill and then just brake.. but then the car switched off and u know how the steering wheel pretty much locks up when that happens.. So now whenever i stop i have to keep revving so the car doesnt die! Anyone know wtf happend and what it could be? Thanks

Yeah thats what im doing.. my mate knows a sprayer, so my mate is gonna show me how to prepare the car, so ill get a few different guys to help me with that, then give it to him to touch it up.. still would save alot of dosh.. 1 of my quarter panel's is fcked so im just gonna leave that and pay for that to get fixed.. everything else i should be able to strip the car and sand it down and prepare myself..

Same sorta thing happend to me.. just get 2-3 quotes.. get them to lodge a claim.. get them to give u the claim number.. call their insurance company.. ask them where to fax the quotes to.. get the quotes faxed and when their client assesses their car and pays the excess thats when they send u a cheque or tell u to go get your car repaired.. Well thats the process thats happend to me.. just waiting on the cheque!!

True... i paid like $80 for a brand new clutch master cylinder.. $23 for just a cover is such a rip i was thinking under $10 but what can u do.. Cant have it sitting without the cap so will to pay the rediculous price since u dont see alot of people selling them =[

Just called up nissan he said they take a day to get it in and i gotta pay first.. $22.25 damn didnt think it would cost so much for a small cap!!

Damnit I lost my clutch master cap.. no idea where its gone tried reversing the car a few times to see if it fell on the floor but nothing.. where could i get a replacement? Sucks coz this is the 2nd time this has happend.. my clutch master is leaking so i have to top it up every like 2-3 days, got my new clutch master cylinder sitting here just waiting on my mate to install it for me.. but that has no cap because i was using that cap on this one! Any help would be great.. Thanks

My other rims were like a year or so old and im selling them for $1K.. these ones i got for $1K and there only about 2 months old and hardly ever driven.. tyres like 95% thread so im happy But yeahh if only when he bought them he got more dish but ahh well i love em

I just called RACV they said soon and she pays the excess their sending me a cheque for $704! Damnit shouldve given them the $852 quote lol ah well i sms'd her and told her to pay it so now i just gotta play the waiting game i guess..

They said that its up to the insurance assessors when they come have a look.. My local panel beater quote was $852 and took it to Vu at DT Panels yesturday who gave me a quote of $704.. Faxed them today so we'll see how we go Ill write down exactly whats being done when i get the quote back my dads got it with him
