  1. Ive got a couple of oil trays and plastic cut out bottle thingos that will slide under a car to catch fluid easily. Might be able to source a few 5 litre dish washing liquid bottles from work and maybe a few frying oil tins that we can wack old fluid in to be disposed off. Im fine with helping on anything but timing belt, as i really dont want to stuff anyones car up on that one as ive never done it before... all the rest ive done before and can help with. So whats the date on this thing? How about 21st of June (Saturday)? Also note that autosalon is July 26th... but we should have this all done by then. So we can get things organised... Remember we have to try and avoid a day with RAIN.... So late post poning of the event may occur, as weather predictions arent really reliable until at least a few days before hand. Would also be a good idea to get a registered list of who is getting work done on their cars. As well as who is coming just to give a hand. The number of jacks/stands would also be handy information to know. But most of the work you wont need one. And with the oil tray i got, u can easily slip it under the car without having to jack the car up to let out the oil. However, as for pumping in gearbox oil/diff oil (Ive got a little hand pump which i can bring along),,, it may be alot easier to have a few jacks on hand. Especially those with kits on their cars. Hopefully it will be a load of fun and good experience in regards to learning a few things.
  2. Fan belt should be piece of cake.

  9. erm ... Cold start.. esp winter mornings... its normal for ur pressure to reach around 7 for the frist few mintues of driving.... After its warmed it will drop down ... Idle around 2. And when u drive should b around 3.5. I have the offical figures in my room... i printed out the service manual.
  10. I was using seul_avecs camera, so ill get in contact with him, and post them up... =)
  11. He did have one, but he uninstalled it due to conflicting with turbo timer... I remember seeing this post last month maybe.... Still havent got it back eh...
  12. LOL! Yea i saw u using them rhys... hahaha.... Next time HOGS breath eh... O and btw, u werent the one who parked the red barina (if not barina a small car like one) maybe between all the skylines?
  13. If you get ur immobilizer proffesional installed(which you should, no point risking your car for a few bucks) with the turbo timer, it will have no ill effects whats so ever. Im running a good alarm (Wont mention brand) and turbo timer, both were installed at the same time. I can have my turbo timer on for 2 or 3 mins, arm my alarm, and the alarm will activate. If someones breaks into ur car while the turbo timer is on, and tries to drive the car away, the alarm will turn off the turbo timer immediately. So no, it wont have any effects on ur immobiliser. However i do recommend you go for a full alarm system rather then just the immobiliser... too many skylines get stolen now a days. Hope this helps Brendan

I know they sell these for R33's 34's 32s... im saving up my money to purchase one soon. Maybe they mite b able to fix you up one for a stagea. They are selling for i think 550 + freight. Hope this helps.
  19. Dont forget this weekend is DOUBLE dermit points due to long weekend.... So please drive safe! Another excuse to drive the speed limit and keep together as a GROUP!! Most cruises it always ends up spilting up... Always more fun if the group stays together!! See you guys there.
  20. lowered down skylines look sexy kit or no kit!!
  21. best bet would be alternator. That was leo's problem as well... Probably best just to change it, then you know its done and wont happen again So whats the car count on this thing? Lucky my 100k service was recently done Na_goodness is a super host man!!! Inviting approx 10 cars to his house to get work done... now thats something! !
  22. which belt is making the noise? I would think any of those belts except for timing belt should be a pretty easy swap and change. Is it when it starts up? Or when you turn? Or something else?
  23. If your going to the trouble of changing the rotors, i would just put in slotted... You really only need them in the front... however it does look better if you do all 4, and not just 2. I dont think they are that much more from memory... Just dont get the ones with the holes in them... augmented i think they are called, as disc around the holes tend to get fine line cracks due to rapid heating and cooling. so ya +1 for slotted!
  24. I think after that big hoon catch on friday night, they will be out inforce for the next few weekends.... So better be careful..
  25. If you guys go ahead with this, i dont mind lending my hands to work on the cars... I can bring along some tools. Will be interesting to see this! Although 7th/14th not the best dates for me... as my last uni exam is the 16th, but if for some reason its after the 16th, ill certainly drop by.
