Hey all, Had my car broken into on the weekend and had the Back Left rear window smashed (just the little one). I have an r32 GTR and just wondering if anyone knows a place closeish to sydney that can replace the window or even just sells them.

must have been a hard break up Omar. Also possibly bringing my cousin along, she'll be in a pulsar SSS pending the kit being done by then, otherwise in my car...

i see a great lack of R32s and GTRs so i guess ill have to show up

yea $100 to fill my tank. it can last a week or 2 days depending how i drive it.....so yea usually 2 days. i love my skyline...my bank account does not

well just mod yours to be faster. its mostly going to be the middle age man that can afford them so yea gotta deal with that. heck if i was 40 something and could buy it i would....

so they put the clutch in but cant get it to engage and they have no idea why.....had to happen to me lol, my car is cursed

yea im getting a heavy duty put in. took it into powerplay this morning. tried northern beaches but couldnt get hold of anyone, wanted it done right away heh.

yea going to powerplay. so much difference in quotes though, its amazing. the places that did not know gtr's were like need your car for like 2 days and 800 dollars for labour. powerplay said about 300 for labour and 2 and a half hours haha.

I object! do i get the job now?

im in north sydney, and wouyld be interested in buying a clutch for sure, just need a standard one until i upgrade everything down the track heh.

ok so ive gotten a million and one quotes on how much replacing the clutch in my GTR is going to be labour wise, but my problem is noone i talk to seems to know much about the car itself. Does anyone know a good place to take my car around sydney area?

Getting nervous yet? haha. I should still be able to make this, pending my clutch being replaced by then.

tires blew because they were cracked from sitting round in a a ware house for months. have never done a single burnout since i got that car heh.

Ok so ill give a brief overview of my day. Started off by one of my tires blowing, which was fine i just drove down with the spare to have the tired replaced, got them all done while i was at it. Drove home ok, got home went to install new speakers which ive done a million times, but they wont work, not sure why. BUT my biggest problem is all of a sudden when i took my friend home like an hour ok i went to pass a car and the engine revd but didnt really go anywhere, now this suggest to me maybe my clutch is slipping but the thing is it hasnt gotten worse over time, i just pulled out of my drive way after trying to do speaker and it went crazy. so any advice on what might have happened would be great Also my turbo timer only ran for about 30seconds when i got home when its set to go for 3 minutes........is it possible i tripped a wire while messing round in the boot which is messing with it? cause there are a few things back there heh.

i could write an essay on this topic with all the pros and cons haha, its fair yet not fair. some cops will abuse it some wont, some people who deserve to get pinged will, some people who dont deserve it will also. this legislation is fair if used in the way that it is meant to be, but unless they get specific with how much acceleration warrants "racing" or how much time your wheels spin warrants a burnout it will be abused by a policeman with a power trip or who has just had a bad day.

Will be there with my GTR this time with Rob and miss lilac hair(bella) maybe 1 other so yeah full car, expect to see some idiots driving up the free way screaming at the top of thier lungs to bad music!

Haha yes bella is a strange one, she got to work ok, think shes on like 3 hrs sleep though. Had a great time nice to meet some new faces, ill be bringing my Baby on the next one hopefully.

I will be there for this one, Probably in a r34 GT, dont think ill bring the GTR this time.

It's strange actually, everybody warned me i would get pulled up alot in my GTR but i have not been harrassed once since i bought my car.

glad to hear it was found. still cheaper options if you cant afford full coverage, like a quiktrak alarm or something, its not 100% but still very very good, my mates car was stolen and tracked down within a few hours with quiktrak...fact is you shouldn't really be parking your car anywhere but in a garage if you dont have a good alarm or comp.
