    have you just looked at the fuses or tested them with a multimeter? sometimes they might look ok but won't be. my mates exa was playing up, so he replaced every fuse in it, and all of his stuff started working again, even though we looked at every fuse and they all seemed ok.

    yeah i figured i could, but the problem is trying to get the light apart. it seems to be glued. i tried myself and cracked a bit off it...

    it'd be a fuse, my car did that when my center console got ripped out by a friendly chap that borrowed my stereo and hasn't returned it yet. once i plugged it all back together and replaced fuses everything worked again, even the beep, except the clock >

    i had to pay $300 to replace that switch because my indicator relay had burnt out. i dunno why they charged me $300, but it was under warranty so it didn't bother me. when they pulled it off they showed me the smallest bit of contact had melted away, so you'd be surprised what will stuff that little switch

    dash surrounds usually go for between $100 - $150.

    Spotted GZ R33 in his silver skyline at intersection off parkway onto caswell dr this arvo at about 5:30.

    I sourced one from just jap, $135 2nd hand. a mate of mine says a mate of his is pretty good with led's, and owes him a few favours. said he might be able to repair it for me. i still haven't gotten a replacement though, i've had a few other things pop up that were more important recently (living). i didn't get around to ringing Tez yet, i'll try them next week when i've got some cash again

    Also spotted yesterday Arvo a silver R33 with the rice stripes from the R34 in 2F2F. i bet you got 15kW from each stripe.

    Last night spotted an R32 with plates 'MARK'. we were cruising down adelaide ave at about 10:30 doing about 90, then i turned off into deakin, he kept going and there was a flash for cash van sitting right under the bridge, i hope you didn't get pinged dude. nice car though, awesome dark blue colour, maybe XR6T Blue? also spotted today another dark blue R32 sitting at woden plaza outside oporto's, another nice specimen of an R32

    If you want quicker launches, and better fuel efficiency, go the 17"s, as the 18's will have a higher moment of inertia and take more power to get up to the same speed. this also works with 16"s vs 17"s and so on. it all depends on what you want to do, go fast or look good.

    I started using Ultimate, and it seems to work better for me, i get a little further on a tank now. i was on Optimax and now only use it whenever i can't find Ultimate.

    that's Caswell Dr. i would have driven home up that road last night at about that time if i'd gone to work. damn, that sucks. It's a dangerous road at night that one, Roo's love to jump out at you.

    I'm always getting old falcodores or kingswoods trying to go me, that's always fun. heaps of silvias and 180's always seem to pull up next to me.

    i don't think changing into 1st while still moving is a good idea in any car. when i was taught to drive they said not to do it, you should wait until stationary.

    saw a silver Stagea cruising down haydon dr about 5:30 yesterday arvo, made me do a massive double take, i love those cars.

    the way i did it was to have the engine on, with the coil cover off, then you just unplug each coil one at a time. if the engine starts to struggle, it's not that coil. then, swap over the suspected bad coil with a good one and redo the test. this is if your coil is completely buggered. if it's only happening 10% of the time i'm unsure of an easy method.

    my mates S14a 200sx put me in my seat. he's like "Still think only milk and juices comes in 2L?" my kingo at the time had a 4.2L V8, and it had nothing on the silvia. Thats what made me decide on a Skyline, because i just can't go to 4 cylinders...

    I do drive on haydon dr a fair bit, i live in kaleen, but i don't have a 400R front bar, that's another guy. i've got M-spec side skirts i think... someone said that one day. I do remember seeing your car though, only a couple of times I wish my car had gullwing doors, i don't think i've ever seen a skyline with them
