spotted a few today, a silver R32 gave me an odd look coming around a corner (i forget where, either in the city or belco. Spotted Marc2 in his stagea going towards gungahlin, and drove past Stevie in his nice silver R33 in gunny, but i don't think he saw/recognised me

i love my series 1, i have cool eyelids and grill, also a nice simple bodykit. The engine is the same as my old R33 so i know how to work with it and things like tiptronic don't really appeal to me. I prefer having the driving/fog lights inside the light cluster rather than a separate set of lights in the grill. Soon i'll have series 2 interior though (RSFour-S) and i've got series 2 tailights, so mines a bit of a mongrel now. Series 1 260RS wing is the icing on the cake. Lastly for the price, i don't think i'd get a series 2 with dual sunroofs and leather interior. There's my 1.73¥

I don't think dave would tell you that, wasn't there an issue with swirls? i couldn't see them but apparently they were 'there' good thread, i'll be looking for a detailer for my brothers R33 & JZX100 soon

It's just you, they're nothing alike. the R33 ones are much bigger and have driving lights as well as indicators

the guard ones are from R34/Maxima also, i'm using R34 ones on my car

That's true to a point, but remember all series 1's are auto, and when i bought mine, only series 1 were available.

Mine's auto, and i didn't mind the change when i first got the car 18 months ago. now i'm fed up with it and i want more response from my car, so in about 6 weeks my manual conversion will happen, as soon as my parts get here.

You can install the PowerFC into a manual stagea, but you need to hard wire the Atessa. there's information on how to do it on the forums somewhere

Yeah i got them through slidewize. $500 to my door, which i didn't think was too bad. i got mine cheaper than a couple of other auctions i saw go through. just had good luck i think

I've got my old set of Series 1 Stagea (96 model) tail lights for sale now. i put the series 2 ones on and fell in love. Only problem, the middle 2 lights (brake/park + reverse/keyhole) don't come with a loom, as the series 2 lights have a different plug and only 3 wires, and the series 1 have 4 wires. the bulbs still all fit the same, so if you already have the bulbs + wires they'll plug right in. i can throw in the series 2 looms/bulbs but they won't plug into a series 1. I'm asking $200 (+ postage) for the set, just to cover half the costs of getting series 2 lights. If anyone can tell me what a wrecker charges for these i'll drop the price to beat them. This is just a ball park figure. Let me know if you're interested. cheers

Well i got my new lights on today. i tell you what they're a bit of a bitch for the middle ones to get off. also the plugs didn't match, so i butchered my old lights loom and put them into the new lenses. they all work fine now. My old lights are for sale in the classified section if anyone is interested
