damn, just bought a new drift filter yesterday for my oil change this weekend. I'l let u know what the results are
-
Yes, it is quite similar but this is for ppl who use 'stock cooler piping' not just the hole where to stock cooler piping used to be
-
Hey guyz, just thought i'd post up a cai mod for all u guyz who use stock cooler piping and want cooler air for your pod. This simple process only took 10mins and will give u noticable power gains and economy u will need: 40-50mm hole saw ($10) reputable drill ($150+) 500mm of 40 or 50mm diameter flexible hose from clark rubber ($11) a zip tie ($5 pack of 50) half a brain (priceless) now remove or push away the pod to locate the already pre-drilled hole, this makes life alot easier. Problem is i accidentally deleted the photo but u get where it was from this pic (just below the square hole). Now just stick the drill bit in and slowly drill ur hole over approx 1 minute and u'l be left with this when u look down the hole you should see the ground and a good spot to mount ur hose now get under the car and screw/feed your hose through the hole now u can judge how much to cut off the hose to get a perfect fit to where u want to mount it, I zip tied mine to my cooler hose like so but it can be wherever u like, but the less bends, the better. and thats it!, my advice is also to make a partition for ur pod aswell, these mods together will help greatly

HAHA, I pulled the chain off when i imported it. I shouldnt hav any problems with downforce tho, or maybe it's just wearing out my rear shocks from the shear weight of it lol
-
But it aint no GTR wing
-
HKS almost always uses Garrett turbo housings then change the bearings, fins ect. The T51R is a hyped up version of the garrett equivelent ( as u could prob judge from the price difference ).

Cool, thanx for the feedback fellas

OK, thank you, I just couldn't find the oil cooler thats why i thought it was that. My mates didn't have that in front of his so, i was guessing thats what it was.
-
Hey guyz, I just wanted to know if any of you guyz have seen an oil cooler as big as mine. It took me a month after I bought the car to realize that it wasn't my radiator!! hehe. Just thought i might hear some thoughts as it was imported like this. Oh yeah. Thought i might show u some new pics of my turbosmart silicone hose i just replaced, really brightend up my engine bay.

you can buy blue or black silicone ones on ebay, look just as good (if not better) and wont heat soak. -
Don't bother putting 40 or 50 on, just dump one huge one on the roof and people will think you Jaws returned on road.

Hi, thanx. U need to look in the coin hole and u'l see a little black cap at the bottom, take the cap off with a small flathead screwdriver (from the right hand side) and u'l see a screw under that. Unscrew that and then you can yank it off, don't be afraid to use a little force because its clipped in aswell. Same goes for the passenger side.

Yeah, thanx mate. U can't c in the photos but at night under the proper light u can see my purple pearl through the clear which i put on top of the glitter spray ( the photos were done via my phone so they don't look right). Anyway I got the autometer cobalt series because they were the only gauge that matched the stock cluster and i wanted the needle in the gauge to be lit, but little did i know that they lit up blue at night, so i had to change my cluster lights cuz i hate it when they don't blend in. PS. those are AVS shoes u c, but will be white 19" Enkei soon i hope..
