afraid to say.. not a good year for me Just curious to know, do policemen have a Flash on their Radars?? or any other speed recording device (Laser)? etc I was doing abt 111kmh in a 100 zone silly me, I think i saw a flash from behind some trees and an un marked commodore parked some 2km down on the M4 can't be sure if it was me, as there were a few other cars around me doing the same speed... but then again, i can't even be sure if it was a police flash or some blue light i saw through the trees in a factory or sumthing else .......... dam , sooooo anxious. hope i dont get anything in the mail.

Fair enough. You also don't see the police targeting speeding mums in there Four wheel drives, who charge through the school zones at 60kmh.

Is it easy to request the DVD (without massive fees and charges)? and would it also record what the police officer does once he is out of the car interrogating? would be a good way to get out of a nice spot of trouble.

Yea True, i think i will record it from now. Have you done this before? wouldn't the police man get offended and harrass you if you have a mobile phone in front of him, recording what he says?? --- I think you did good, if non-import car drivers can get away with things like that they deserve that treatment. . Park them in every chance you get

I'm still kinda fuming until now i didn't really confront him, to tell you the truth, its because this is my first car, and first experience on the wrong side of the law. i've never been fined before... plus my friend said, who cares its a $77 parking fine... so i didnt really care at the time, until i saw other cars parked wrongfully and him disregarding them totally. then copping $185 how can you track down a cop and talk to them? ANOTHER THING i'd like to bring up... LOL... is the governments campaign on stopping young drivers from speeding.. giving them the pinky etc. I turned onto the highway... and was traveling around 70 ish... a lady came flying past me in a volvo going atleast 90-100 and her daughter was giving me the pinky... I know i shouldn't really be complaining..... but i just wanted to vent my frustration at the ignorance i saw I parked my Car in a No Stopping Zone the day before christmas.... , i know i shouldn't have and deserved the fine, but i wasn't going to be long, and i parked it safely. . i.e. no blind spots etc.. Next to me parked on a Kerb at a Roundabout was a Toyota Camry, with half of the front left corner on the road. (In a roundabout mind you) Across the Road were 3 cars also parked in a no stopping zone.... And there i am, watching a policeman come up... He looks around the whole area.... goes in the car pulls out a book Lo and behold, seees a white skyline, walks up, books me for $185, looks at everyone elses cars, and drives off. it is my fault for being an idiot to park there, but it wasn't the fine that pissed me off, more the fact that there were atleast 5 cars parked wrongfully and 2 parked dangerously.... Can you be selectively booked like that? and let everybody else go? without even paying the slightest attention? not fairrrr :-S

Was a mad cruise... Lukily enough i followed 2 Comodores, lancer an S15 half way.... Lost them, an joined an Evo, Rex 2 Lexus n a few others.... very fun drive.. lol.... cant wait till another cruise comes along.

Hey Guys, I looked all over the Traders forums and can't seem to find a trader that sells the M Sports body Kit in Sydney. As i'd prefer to pick up and inspect etc, instead of paying through paypal and it being delivered. Could somebody please direct me to a website or contact, would be greatly appreciated. Does anybody know if this Kit is available on Series 2 R33 Skylines? As all pics are taken on the S1's. Thanks

Hi Everyone, I've got a S2 R33 GTS-t 97' .. And i am looking to Kit it. Although the only website i know of with a moderate variety of Body Kits is www.carmate.com.au Would somebody be able to give me a few more links, and is possible addresses, of stores in Sydney. The one problem i am having is, i simply cannot spend more than $1800 on the Kit, as im flat broke from the Car, and rego due in a few months etc. This includes, Fitting etc. Is it possible? Also i wanted to know how much will it put you back if you want to falre the Guards, Front/rear slightly to fit in larger rims? Also i will probably need to cut the Front bar slightly to make room for my intercooler and piping as it sticks out a bit. Thanks alot.

At the time, i dont think there was any clutch smells, the wheels were spinning, but not smoking up greatly. At the moment i am not having any problem at all with the clutch or shifting, i think it was just at the time, although i am still going to get it checked up. At most, it probably jerks a little harder than usual when the clutch is cold however it runs near perfect when it warms a little bit. Also another question. .... My engine stops running in some cases and the car just stalls. For example, if i am rolling the car at whateva speeds and do a really slow shift i.e. hold the clutch completely down for a good 6-10 seconds whilst in gear and rolling, the engine turns off. I think it might be a result of my above mistake. Dam i wish i didnt have work dont get time to drop it at a mechanic...

Hi everyone, Wondering if i can get help on a little problem i had with my cars transmission. Car: R33 Gtst S2 97' My current modifications to the transmision include: -Xtream Racing clutch, (1200kg clamping pressure with brass button sprung centre) -'C's Shortshifter I think everything else is stock, i don't know much at all about transmissions and those came with the car when i bought it. Before, anyone comments about what i was doing. lol. I have to say it was 'legal' and yes i was an idiot (which i fully admit). Just a few nights ago, i attempted to do my first burnout on the car, and as i didn't know how to do one, I just reved the car high about 5-6 thousand and dropped the clutch, when i hit the rev limiter which is set at 6750 i shifted into 2nd and continued to kick the clutch slightly and give it, once again hitting the rev limiter and holding it. Which was a bad mistake . After that i didnt hear any unsual sounds, although 2-3 minutes later my car could not shift into any gear. It just kept jamming, whether the car was on/off or rolling. After about 15 minutes of trying the car finally started to shift although felt different, as in the gear shifts felt softer than usual. Just wanted to know, is it a major problem which i should get checked out immediately, as the car is running well at the moment, or is it a normal occurence, and only screwed up due to me not being able to do burnouts? Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

Hmmm, yea it would be good, but i don't think you'd hit top speed or hold it. But unfortunately i haven't had my car long, so i will head there ASAP... Nobodies know of some abandoned small airfield??? ... I'm not much of a track.drift.drag person --- buut i luv seeing those big top speed figures :-D
