Hi Guys, I have had my R34 GT25 for about a year now with nil issues. So far I have had 2 incidents where whilst the car is going, an orange light comes up on my dash, the car then begins to shudder and the exhaust note changes. The car still changes gears (tiptronic), but if I am to try and accelerate it is greatly restricted. The first time this happened, the car had been idiling for about 2 minutes and the most recent event was driving home last night travelling at about 8okms. Also when it happened the first time, I took the car home, left it until the afternoon and started it. The car drove for the next several days with nil issues. A friend of mine said it may possibly be an issue with the Catalytic Converter.. I have searched throughout this section but have been unable to find anything which relates. Any help or insight would be much appreciated. Brenton

The N/A R34 is a really good platform. I have the 4 door, which is more unique as you don't see as much but they weight a little more than the 2 dr.. I would be looking at 15k and up for a decent one. Handles really well and looks the part. At the end of the day it's all down to preference..

Hi Guys, I work as a cop in NSW so I can give an insight on the legalities but only obviously for NSW. Pod filters are illegal unless you have an enclosure. Further, blow offs can't vent into the atmosphere.. Basically if you have a engineer's certificate you are generally fine, but from my experiences most ppl never do especially with the tachos on the 'A' pillar. At the end of the day most cops will let it slide as long as you're not a smart arse when spoken to. And most general duties cops won't know what a pod filter is... Hope this helps,
