  2. Thanks, I'll try it out this weekend.
  3. ...You waited over 3 months for a radiator plate, radiator cap and oil filler cap??? I thought 2 weeks was a long time .. BTW, where and how much did the Tomei Oil Filler Cap cost ya? I'm going with the Tomei theme for my engine (Tomei internals, Tomei turbo kit... and so on)
  4. Update... ER34 GTT 2Door Vented Front Fenders (+20mm) $305 USD (~$340 AUD) NOT INCLUDING SHIPPING! You can find these at www.RHDJapan.com. ER34 GTT 2Door GTR Wide Rear Set. (+50mm) $315 USD (~$350 AUD) NOT INCLUDING SHIPPING! You can ask RHDJapan to price these for you if you want them. Right now they are on the Japanese Yahoo Auction. http://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/103604326 If you want to go any wider you'll have to get a Super Wide R34 GTR Body Kit and mod it for the GTT... lots of $$$ involved and you'll want a reputable shop woking on a project like that to keep the lines looking natural. You can find either the vented fenders or wide rear sets on Japanese Yahoo Auction so if you have a source in Aus that's able to use the Japanese Yahoo Auction, it'd probably be better to go thru them.
  5. That looks like a pretty difficult project... keeping the lines looking as natural as possible. Here's a GTR rear for a ER34 GTT from Japan. This might be a lot easier and looks to be a better/natural fit..... +50mm. ($315USD a set!) These will get your GTT looking like a GTR... not any wider than that. If you want to go wider you'll have to get a superwide R34 GTR Bodykit... but that's a lot of work and $$$
  6. Does anyone know what the measurements (size pitch) are for an oil filter for a R33 GTR? Is the pitch 3/4-16UNF, diameter 65mm? I think my supplier might have sent me the wrong filters...
  7. Here's a set for the 4 door. Seems like it'll cost quite a bit.... also I don't know if this is genuine or homemade. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n62035994
  8. For a daily driver these are pretty good for the buck. Kumho Ecsta Supra 712, 275/40/17 =$109USD Ea. (just to give an idea about pricing) Falken FK451... good dry grip and good wet grip but tread life is poor IMO. And once the tread starts wearing the wet grip is terrible! It's like ice skating with your car if you go 80+kmh. I'm looking to get either the Good Year Eagle F1 GS D3 or Toyo's T1to fit my 19's... unless I find something better in that price range (around $250 per corner).. any suggestions?
  9. My mistake, the venter fenders for GTT are 20mm. You can get the wide rear from RHD too, just ask them. You're right, it's not really a "Wide Body kit", it just makes your front and rear fenders just as wide as the GTR. Anything wider I think you'll have to get a wide body kit for a GTR and mod it for a GTT... I never heard of a wide kit in that sense for a GTT.
  10. Shipping costs add up. I'm ordering the east bear full kit, tail lights, full exhaust, wing, mirrors, east bear aero hood, radiator and a bunch of other goodies. I'm just waiting until I can afford all the parts. My order will be placed/paid by the 1st week of March. It would be sooner but I just spent $3200 USD on some 19" Racing Hart CXR's. My order should arrive within two weeks so I'm expecting a full fit and respray no later than the first week of April.. if my order arrived sooner then I'll have my project done sooner.... but no later than the first week of April. I've been saving for quite a while but spent some loot vacationing in Osaka and Bangkok ... I can't get enough of it! I'm not sure if they're avialiable in Aus... I'm getting mine from www.rhdjapan.com. The price they quoted me today was $305 USD... I thought it was cheaper before but I was wrong. It'll be worth it though. I think URAS has some... I have no idea if they're the same tho.
  11. I just got an e-mail confirming the ER34 GTT vented fenders are 20mm wider. I'll have them on this April so I'll post up pics of before and after.
  12. Yep, I went with Racing Harts measurments for a R34 GTT... Front 18x8.0 +35 Rear 18x9.0 +38. I then calculated the front... being 19x8.5 +21 offset will give me 8mm more on the inner clearance and 20mm more on the outter. The Rear I chose 19x9.5 +35. That'll give me 3mm less clearance on the inner rear wheels and it'll extend the dish 9mm more. So far, I've found a lot of GTT owners using +35 offset for the rears and had no problems. now I just want to figure out the right tire sizes without having to sacrifice performance or having to mod guards or having this rub. 215's would most likely make a loss in performance... I think I'll jsut go with 225 in the front. The rear is either 265 or 255. Racing Hart suggested 255 on a 18x9.0 so 265 on a 19x9.5 might work out.
  13. Ok guys, this is what I'm going with. Racing Hart Type CXR Front 19x8.5 High Disk +21 Rear 19x9.5 Low Disk +35 It won't sit exactaly flush but good enough I guess.... Now tyres... I'm was looking at either the Eagle F1 GS D3's or the Falken FK452's. Front would be 225 or 235 and rear would be 265. Does anyone know if the tyre sizes will conflict with what rims size's I'm getting? I don't want to do any modifications, no rubbing either. I don't want my GTT to sit high like a 4WD car... just low enough to make clearance on the tyres so there'll be no rubbing. Any thoughts?
  14. Nice! That's what I mean by flush too butI don't know if I'll rub or not from getting the wrong tire size. I don't want to strech them too much. So either I'll go with the strech or I'll just have the rims tucked a bit more.
  15. Hey thanks n15m0! Thats what I was looking for.
  16. If I'm running 19x8.5 for the front rims what would be the safest tire size? 225's? I don't want to sacrifice turning ability or scrub or have to modify anything. And my rear will be 19x9.5... I'm hoping to be able to fit 265's without scrubing or work.. is it possible?
  17. Ok, I thought I had it but now it's getting confusing... If I go off of Racing Harts website it should come out to this.. Front 18x8.0 +35 to 19x8.5 +29 (-6mm for 0.5 increase in rim width) to 19x8.5 +9 (-20mm to bring the dish out to fit flush with the 20mm wider fenders) Rear 18x9.0 +38 to 19x9.5 +32 (-6mm for 0.5 increase in rim width) Should I leave like 3mm or so clearance to maintain my turning ability? I want my tires to be slightly tucked so the rims don't hav eto sit perfectly flush... just flush enough where it looks 'full'. jesus... I never knew sizing rims could be this difficult. It would be nice if they sold my PCD here in Korea so I can do test fits... but since I can't I don't want to waste money sending rims to and from Japan until I get the right fitment... these rims are expensive enough! Does anyone know the stock setup for a 2Dr R34 GTT? I think the rims are 17x7.0 all around and +30/35 offset all around?? Someone correct me please.
  18. Ok, so what your saying is that an increase of 1.5 inch on the width of the rim equates to +19mm (38mm/2)?.. in respect to that an increase of 0.5 inch would equate to +6mm (12mm or 13mm/2)? I read somewhere on SAU that says the following is the best set up for a R34 GTT(i don't know if this is for a 2Dr or 4Dr).. Rims sit flush.. Front 8.5 +32 offset 225 tires Rear 9.5 +38/35 offset 265 tires If that's the case then I can use this as a base. Since my front fenders are going to be 20mm wider would this be right.. Front 8.5 +12 offset 225 tires or 9.0 +18 offset 225 tires Rear 9.5 +35 offset 265 tires Would that make the front flush again? Does anyone have a ER34 GTT 2Dr that's running 19x8.5 19x9.5?
  19. Thanks! i just needed the manufacturer... my friend in Japan ships direct to me and he can find anything as long as I have a manufacturers name. Thanks again!
  20. Thanks adam but I've seen that before. I can't use it because I don't know what the specs are for stock R34 GTT rims and the stock GTT rims don't sit flush. Also, I'm getting new front vented fenders that are 20mm wider than stock. Does that mean I subtract 20mm from the front offset? For example, if my front was 19x8.5 and offset was +30 with the stock fenders then I would need to find +10 offset rims if I get the vented fenders. I don't know how that works.... do I need 225 on the front to make clearance or will 235's or 245's be ok? Would 265's be alright for the rear on 9.5's?
  21. Hey Granthem, who makes the eyelids you have on your GTT? They fit nice.
  22. I need some help figuring this out. I have the R34 GTT vented fenders and they are 20mm wider than normal. I'm trying to order the Racing Hart CXR's. Front 19x8.5 Rear 19x9.5 On the racing hart website it says the offsets for a R34 25GTT are... Front 18x8.0 +35 Rear 18x9.0 +38 I have no idea if that means they are flush or not. I'm looking to have my rims fitted flush with the guards... so what offsets should I use if I'm going 19 inch rims 8.5's and 9.5's? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  23. Yup, the East Bear kit is expensive as hell... I'm finally at the point where I can afford it. (full kit $2430 USD shipping is around $400 USD but I'm also including front vented fenders, full Kakimoto exhaust and other large items with the order) I should have a pretty nice completed project by the first week of April, just need some more little bits, the kit, rims/tires and a respray. My current setup has me at ~400whp modestly. 24. I have a Black ER34 GTT and this weekend I'm ordering the Racing Hart CXR's in 19's. 19x8.5 +35 245/35 and 19x9.5 +38 or +35 265/35. It's gonna cost a pretty penny tho.. Front rims $1324 USD and rear rims $1384. I'm gonna fit some FK452's to see how they do.
