I love sharing shat I have done to cars...hope this helps those who aren't sure what to do. As I said above I used carbon fiber to build my box. This was a 1000mm x 1000mm x 5mm sheet made of a single layer of carbon then a layer of special ridgit foam than another layer of carbon. The sheet wasn't cheap but carbon isn't, but dam it looks cool Some of these pics have captions which I had used on my old site. 1. This is the original cardboard template I made to get the shape of the side wall, making sure there was room for hoses and fmic pipes. 2. Here it is in place, I actually made a second one that was neater and had straight edges . 3. Next was the top, again made in thick cardboard. 4. Here it is in place. 5. Adding more cardboard and taping it together to make the entire top. 6. Not sure about excited...broke more like it

I did mine in carbon....I got a big sheet of carbon and cut a side piece and a lid...took two days including doing cardoard templates and such

Looks like this will be super sweet, may have new car by then (HOPE) or I might bring somethign else.....doesn't matter hope to be there guys if only to take photo's

The problem with mods is that there is one rule for all cars for example they say that it is against the law to lower a car more than 100mm from the ground unless it is like that as standard now for a lot of cars you can easilly go beyond 100mm and still drive it like my mates old EK Civic which was defected at 45mm off the deck...you could still turn lock to lock without interfearence and the suspension could still travel without bottoming out yet it was still "Illegal" Unless there was a rule for every single different car on the market then we have to either do the right thing of hope not to get caught...the later is the option I normally choose and have done well in my years of driving modded cars, the key is to not take your car where there is a likelyhood of you being pulled by the cops...like at a "Car event" I remember leaving last years Jamboree in QLD in my line with NO exhaust apart from my 4" dump and front pipe...it was way loud and there was a cop parked just after the entrance, I remember thinking "Dam here we go" now it would have been my fault if I had been caught...lucky I had enough speed up to just coast past him and down the road...but I would have had no one to blame had I been caught.... On a side note Don't try driving like this for more than a few minutes, it was a 70 minute drive home at 10pm, by the time I got home my head was thumping Sounded sweet though.

I can assure you all that there is absolutely nothing more satisfying than having your car gone over by the transport dept. and the cops...3 time and still they find nothing...the whole time I just sat against the front guard talking on my phone and occasionally asked "have you lot finished wasting my time" the best feeling I gaurantee Yes it cost to get it right but it is worth every cent.

That's just it J Facts and Driver skill....Tx5 man, you mention your mates 180sx running 12psi...this means nothing really as my mates 180 also runs 12psi and has run a 12.7sec 1/4....BUT he is a good driver and it makes a whole lot of power on those 12psi...at the end of the day it is very hard to compare cars with such differences even just the driver, I have no doubt your car is fast but its just that some people generalise saying stuff like 32's aren't that fast as I beat it in my ???? etc

I'll race you...I got a ISUZU MU Turbo...should be fair Joking of course

Get an Isuzu MU .....that's what I did ..... worst thing I have ever done ..... will sort that problem out soon enough :D

dam I was going to replay in that forum but its closed...I actually used to owna 1st gen mx6 turbo and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that it could beat my 32 gtst....NOT A CHANCE
