ive installed the turbosmart tee mbc and it seems to be on 8psi and ive turned it about 10~ notches from 0, is this normal? the hose coming from the recirc to the solenoid is still connected but the lower solenoid hose has a screw jammed into it? is this ok? my boost gauge reads -24inhg when driving off boost when im not touching the throttle but -20inhg when idle, this normal too?

overclocking cpu/ram/gfx or anything wont be related to your hard drive dying. hard drives get 12v directly from the power supply

when i asked xspeed about putting an rb26 in a r33 gts-t they said there's lots of work needed to be done to the sump...

the graphics card and PSU are total overkill in that system!

Hey all Long story short I had a head gasket blow, got it checked out, found other problems that be cheaper just to replace the whole engine instead of fixing it. I have another engine in now, and there was oil still in the heater core from when the head gasket blew, so there's still some oil in the coolant. I'm wondering what you guys would recommend I do to get rid of all the oil in the system. A mechanic has recommended I just shove a hose in the radiator and engine to flush it out, but natrad have said oil expands rubber and all the hoses that have come into contact with oil will eventually burst, and said I should change every single hose (7 i think he said?). From these opinions the natrad option sounds better but I don't know if he is just trying to milk me money and I don't know much it will cost. What you guys think?

turned out it was a busted radiator hose... i took all the radiator off before noticing it oh well, i got a replacement from nissan for $28... also changed the thermostat and radiator cap too while it was all apart i think im gonna take it to natrad though since im concerned about that gunk stuff.. its in all the walls of the pipes and would rather get it cleaned out properly

Yeah I think you're right I reckon its a blocked radiator.. I don't know how to flush it out myself so I guess I'll have to get it towed to xspeed or somewhere... I hope its not the water pump, I'm on my second water pump already within 5k km... but thats another story..

So I just went from a subway run (literally 5 mins) and when I was parking up the driveway I smelt coolant... I immediately popped the hood and saw it spraying everywhere so I turned off my car... After letting it cool down I took off the radiator cap and there's brown gunk shit all over it.. I topped up the coolant which seemed empty but it only took about 2L till full? Can anyone help me? I don't know what to do and I don't wanna turn my car back on like this

I've only ever been pulled over once and that was because i didn't pay for my rego on time, so it was my fault. He asked me to pop the bonnet and asked if I had the papers for the mods... I showed him the paper... he actually said "wow, we didn't think you'd have the papers for the modifications" I think he was just being easy on me though, because I had a service the week after and got told my tyres were in a completely illegal state..
