  1. And another question... I would like to put wisecos because they are cheap.. What compression I will have with stock headgasket with R33 RB25 pistons? RB26 pistons?   2. NEO has cable throtle body like R33 or wire (as new technology cars) ? Can I put Q45 throttle body ?? (in greddy intake manifold)
  3. Just I don't want to spend money in the head...! Only I will change seals and I change what ever is worn! No cams no headwork! If after some years I want extreme power I will spend money and at the head! For 500-600 engine hp I know that stock head both 25 and 26 is enought, right? But my problem is what to choose... not if I do somethin with the head..! Come on guys!! Please help me with your knowledge
  4. I told that both 25 or 26 will be with FORGED pistons and rods and full rebuild! Ok RB26 have huge advantages..! But what they are? Let's start a list: -Better flowing head -6 throtle bodies (lest the q45 will be good too?) -intake manifold (rb25 with greddy intake will do the same job) -Remappable ecu -They have the same block? -What about electronis? -Ι don't mind for 50cc more of the 26 I don't think that the advantages of this list are HUGE! We don't compare stock engines... we compare tuned engines! I know that 600 engine HP can handle a stock 26 but the 26 that I find to buy will need full rebuild for sure work! I will do whatever you say me I told you above the prices and what exactly I will get with 26 and with 25! If 25 and 26 have really HUGE differences I will go for 26 but I want to know the HUGE differences to know what I do

He said that it has something like extra ecu, bullshit sure but I can remap the stock ecu as far as I want! CONS IT HAS RB20 GEARBOX!!! :| :| :| :| I can sell it about 500-600aud I think here in Greece at 200sx boys and then I can buy one rb25 gearbox for 1100AUD RB25DET NEO from UK Including 4.100AUD+300Shipping Condition: Mint condition stock I have bought greddy intake with 90mm q45 throtle body and stock gasket kit (but I hope that I can sell them if I choose 26) I also will need pistons and rods and bearings as the 26 to have a safe motor! PROS RB25 Gearbox NEO engine!! Fresh and better than r33s! CONS NEO engine have some incompatibility with r33 aftermarket parts! TARGET For now 500-600HP! But potential for quite more.. I don't want never to spend money for the head.. no cams, no headwork, nothing at all! The "house" of the RB will be my 180sx S13 everyday car but I love Drag Strip and I want to see my car to run high 10s!!!! Sorry for the gabble! Hehe my target is high 10 and I don't mind for hp! Can I do it with stock rb25 gearbox? I don't want weight reduction! I have Hoosier Drag Radial 225-50-15 and I don't want to spend money for larger tires.. I want to do high 10 without crazy low 60foots! Think that I did 2.0 with 350hp and toyo r888 225-45-17!

  7. What to choose guys? Don't think the money... only the result! If I have the same forged pistons and rods (e.g. wiseco+eagle) either on rb26 or rb25 what I will have better if I choose rb26 engine? The power that I want is 500-600 for now but I want to know the power limits of the engine for later...!

Can I have launch control for drag strip? Can it increase rev limiter (because a friend told me that it cannot)? Also I don't need 300zx maf right? Can I run with only the map sensor or it needs the stock maf?

  11. Hi guys, I bought a rb25det engine with box for my S13!! I am looking for over 500hp for drag strip and everyday car! I will for the begining that I don't have much money to spend and I also want a safe motor! Where is the limit of the stock pistons? How much horses can handle with good rich mapping (high 11 afrs?) ? And where is the limit of the stock rods? How many rpm can handle and how can I avoid any damage of them with my driving? Can I strengh the rod's limits with changing the bolts with arp? I read somewhere this but please confirm this to me I will work with stock cams and head! The parts I will order are: Greddy style intake Q45 throttle body XS Power top mount manifold (I will increase it strengh with a "help bar" and some extra welds) JUN Crank Collar N1 oil pump Tomei oil gallery ofrice (and I will block one oil feed and I will increase the flow of the oil return) 52mm koyo style cooler I have fmic from my previous motor with core 600x300x76mm and if you think that it isn't enough I can put a same with 100mm core! I am from Greece and the climate here is quite hot. My exhaust is 3"! Enough? I have walbro fuel pump and as I read I need a fuel pressure regulator because stock of rb can't control the big fuel pressure of the walbro! 555cc injectors and 300zx maf and remapping the stock ecu. And I will try to buy a twin plate clutch kit instead to buy a single ACT even then I read that act can handle 500hp! If I will buy a twin plate maybe I will buy Also I bought a gasket kit to replace everything! Also head gasket I will leave the stock.. what limits it have? I read something for 1.2bar boost! I don't know yet what turbo to use....! Garret choices: GT3076 I think that with this I couldn't go more than 520hp.. GT3582 Garret says 400-600hp according the housing...! Greedy TD06 25!! At 1.15bar with absolutely stock motor got 500bhp!! Anyone knows how much more can go with more boost? Turbonetics GT-K 550!! I love the look of this turbo! 500-600hp rated! Also any help with the garret turbos what horsepower you can think that can give with the same boost to compare and with what compressor housing? (1.1-1.2 bar) Garret's are also cheaper choice! Also please tell me your comments for my choices, tell me what else I will need and help as much as you can
  12. Ok ok.. I ask it because Ι thought that it is too much too have an exterior oil return..! As I I will have the crank out of the engine do you think that it is good to make a balancing on the crank? RB cranks need it?

  14. I read the most posts of the topic.. I have an RB25DET and I will make a rebuild theese days...! The changes I will do is: N1 oil pump Block rear feed 1.5mm Tomei Oil Gallery Orifice at Front feed External oil return Improve oil flow in the cyllinder head return galleries But I don't see any post for oil pump collar..! I need a JUN oil pump crank collar?? Also with external oil return and improved oil flow in the cyllinder head return galleries les is too much oil return?? You are 100% that I will have it any problem at head at low rpms? I use my car for everyday in traffic, for travelling but and drag,drift,cirquit and I will go for 500hp!!
