GTST, you forgot to mention that there is also a BOV return line outlet, which runs a hose to the factory boost solenoid...
WLD747, your boost controller should run like this;
intercooler piping oulet - boost controller - wastegate
You need to blockup you BOV return line (it's on a hard bit of plastic near your wastegate acuator). Leave your factory boost solenoid plugged in.
I'd go and buy some good high-temp hose with clamps, as the factory hosing is shit and splits easy.
Hope this helps
Hey TKO, I was quoted $360 from Tint Master in Geelong to get my current tint ripped out and new 20% metal tint put in. Does this sound right to you? My Impreza was $300 (new car - no tint). Is $60 around about what you should pay to get tint off? Also, I've taken the back seat and parcel shelf out to make things a bit easier for them:)
I finally installed the Autospeed boost controller that Sydneykid had recommended... and yes, works fine. You could also mount this inside the cabin... seems like a very cheap alternative to EBCs, and do the job just as well!
They've now done a 2nd article on this, might give it a bash;

Found this web site someone might be interested in, all sorts of FAQ (taken from Skylines Down Under);

lol, I'm going for a cheapo exhaust system; new front dumpy, hi-flow cat, and exhaust shop is making the rest up for $300 all up - which I think is pretty good! I'd rather go for flow rather than noise/looks, I hate cops hassling me...

Here are some of the threads I think would be a good starting point;
22152, 23642, 12956, 21459, 6885, 2824, 10035, 16129. There are a few more out there...
With all the tips and how to's and what not, can we get a new section going for how to's and DIY's? I think this'll be beneficial for people (like me), who don't know alot about cars...
There seems to be people asking the same questions over and over about how to install stuff.
Just seems like a logical thing to setup.
Cheers,
Kyran.
PS. There are some excellent DIY's that should be moved into this section if you decide to put it up.
Anyone out there gone for a soft and comfortable setup?
Going for soft setup, as I do alot of country kms. Standard is OK, but still a bit hard for my liking...
I'm not after looks, just comfort.
Any suggestions/recommendations?
