  1. Jesus - thats a horrible picture.
  2. This was as I heard it on the radio this morning.
  3. R33s: My bad - forgot about that side street. Pretty damn gutsy move none the less.
  4. And once again the forecast is storms and hail
  5. Just a question R33s-Goesoff: You said you were heading down the spit hill in the direction of the city right? and you were next to the GTR - which then headed up the left side of the hill - where there are two speed cameras 50 metres apart. Id love to hear the rest of the story - was he driving on the wrong side of the road? cos thats the only remotely possible way he could get past two speed cameras going up the spit citybound and considering there is a concrete median strip that makes for some truely "spirited" driving. Enlighten us
  6. Is this a genuine ARC tank or a custom version of similar design paul?
  7. Cameron: you are correct - my post is assuming that its attributing to boost. It could well be something very minor such as plugs needing to be changed.
  8. I will assume you are running higher than factory boost SIR33. R33 GTS-T's are notorious for having a flatspot in the rev range due to the timing being retarded when running higher boost. Power FC is your friend.
  9. As stated in the first post. $220
  10. Guys enough chatting about the car - keep opinions about its engine rebuilt or price arguements out of this thread. Thank you
  11. I have been told some of the bushes are silicon filled and when worn the silicon starts to ooze out, this would explain why the problems progressively got worse. Does this sound right?
  12. Hi all, I am having a problem with my GTR that im hoping someone can assist me with. A while back I fitted some apexi adjustable shocks and hks lowered springs to the car which were all fine however about 2 months ago the car developed a squeaking/creaking sound from the front end on both sides. We put the car on a hoist and found that the front swaybar was rubbing on the plastic inner guard on each side (thus the squeaking) and there was evidence of the swaybar having rubbed on the sump. As a temporary solution, shortened drop links from the sway bar were fitted which fixed the problem although the problem has now come back. What i want to find out is are there bushes associated with the swaybar which may be shot and progressively getting worse which are causing the front swaybar to sit closer and closer to the inner guard? The car isnt that low (around 2 or so inches lower all round), I have seen much lower with people using coilovers etc and yet I havent heard of this problem before. Can anyone provide any suggestions or information to help me correct this? Thanks

  15. What they said. The stock BOV will not run as an atmo bov - an aftermarket one is in order.

  19. Exactly the same problem I had when i disconnected the AFM's on my GTR. Forgot to hook one back up and it caused the car to run in limp home mode. Checked it, plugged back in and the problem was fixed.
