  1. A little birdy tells me Haltech are no longer the only ones in Sydney to have popped a VR38
  2. The car is being bought in for spare parts for the Donut King Race Team, in case you missed it in the first post
  3. You should be worried about the fine you will receive if the Police see you. Are you actually running a cat? If so, check it hasn't been burnt/hollowed out, and if not, fit one.
  4. This is by far the dumbest comment I have read on this forum for a long time.
  5. The Clear RB26 covers that Just Jap sells are a Genuine Trust Product. They also sell Clear Covers for RB25 made by PSI, however they are hardly comparable to the Trust RB26 type, and are only made from very thin plastic.
  6. As above, where was it found?
  7. Doyles has gone downhill in an epic way
  8. Are you looking at changing the plenum for a particular reason?
  9. How do you find the fit quality and performance on them? Warranty?
  10. Bit of a blanket comment there Richo. The Cooling-Pro Alloy Radiator I ran in the GTR certainly didn't fit the picture you describe - I gave one a go and wasn't disappointed. Well priced, dropped straight in, has run solidly in a 400awkw GTR without a hiccup for well over a year now. And not forgetting I am very very anal when it comes to the parts that I fit to any of my cars.
  11. I really shouldn't have read this post while drinking my coffee as half of it is now on my keyboard
  12. Awesome write up mate. I have a feeling I know what the bulk of your issues were though, I have seen those Autobahn88 kits, they are copied directly off the Greddy version, and Autobahn88 only makes them for R33/R34 GTR, so if you were sold one for R32 GTR, I reckon thats a big part of your problem as they are very different. Nick
  13. I would be interested to see how Nitto Rods would compare against Autech, especially with the cost difference. I-Beam Nitto's for RB for $1390, or I-Beam Autech Rods & ARP Bolts for $799.........

    R35 Gtr

How exactly do you figure that?
  15. Warning issued. Post a comment like that again, you're banned.

    R35 Gtr

    Nope, different car Andrew

    R35 Gtr

The rumour is indeed true, and was a spectacular way to destroy a VR38!

    Kel's R35 Adventure

    Nice write-up Kel

    R35 Engines?

Good guess. A brand new VR38 will cost you 4.2 Million Yen in Japan (Approx $65K AUD) plus shipping, taxes and import duty etc.
  20. If you post another ridiculous low ball offer in any more sale threads, you will be issued with a warning.
  21. Closed. This is the 5th thread you have opened for this car - 1 is more than enough
  22. There is another brand, not JJR, but same colour that are known to have had several problems due to a quality problem in a particular batch, so be careful before you go jumping to conclusions. Point to note, JJR Series II ECR33 Coil Packs in particular are Black not Red. One of HPI's project cars ran the JJR coils in a magazine writeup not so long ago and from memory was putting out somewhere in the region of 400awkw with them.
  23. What a ridiculous load of garbage. The JJR Coil Packs have a 12 month warranty which you can be damn sure is easier to claim against than Splitfires should a problem occur. Further to this, you only have to look at the sale thread for the JJR coils in their trader section to see how many people are using them with excellent results.
  24. Post a price please, as per the rules.
