  1. Ben has just replied to my pm and will be posting in this thread shortly, so it would appear this will be resolved momentarily.
  2. Spot on. Rorge: If you don't receive a response from Ben, please contact either myself directly, or one of the other mods as soon as possible.
  3. I have pm'd Ben drawing his attention to this thread - In the meantime I have removed his bank details from your first post.
  4. Hang on just a minute - Your now asking others to go easy, and your defending Ben, yet you started a thread claiming he is trying to rip you off, and calling him an asshole? And now we learn that its only the last email he hasn't replied to? Here is a classic example of why moderators close threads like this.
  5. Please guys, no more posts in this thread unless you are A) The thread starter or B) The seller in question. Warnings will be issued to those that want to stick their nose in. Rorge: You only signed up to SAU today, have you tried to pm or phone Ben or have you only used email to communicate with him?
  6. Well, case closed then You have NO IDEA of the specific details of whats gone on here, and neither does anyone else apart from the thread starter and the seller who is a moderator of this forum and extremely well known!. You have simply stumbled across this thread, read something about a possible 'scam' and jumped on board the bandwagon with your assumptions and comments about the party involved, which you have absolutely no factual basis for. Stay out of this - Your hot-headed attitude which is disturbingly common thesedays will not help resolve this issue. I have no doubt that this can be sorted out quickly, and if the seller had escalated this in an appropriate fashion, contacting another moderator or administrator in the first instance, then this would have no doubt been sorted out. Frankly, as a moderator of another prominant automotive forum, the approach that the thread starter has taken to try and work this out leaves a LOT to be desired.
  7. Adam, do us all a favour and refrain from shooting your mouth off with inflammatory statements like the above. You don't know the facts, and you are not directly involved in this transaction, so keep your mouth shut rather than sighting this thread as another chance to jump on the flaming bandwagon and throw your 2 cents in - This helps nobody. If the thread starter is talking about the Ben Glover that im thinking of, there will no doubt be more to this story as this person is a long running and respected member of the SAU community. Thats right, a scammer was arrested, for blatantly ripping people off for possibly tens of thousands of dollars. This transaction is for one used Profec boost controller worth $170 - Hardly an amount that warrants intentionally ripping of another member. Rorge: This was approached entirely the wrong way - In future, you should exhaust every possible avenue of contacting the seller in question to try and find some resolve, and failing that contact a moderator or administrator directly before you resort to creating a defamitory thread like this. Note that moderators and administrators on SAU do not take sides in situations like this but we will step in to mediate in the interests of having such issues resolved as quickly as possible.
  8. Can you prove they are actually genuine BNR34 calipers? I don't mean to bring your post into question but the paint and logo colour is wrong, and the Brembo logo itself is way off.
  9. Boosteds15: As per the forum rules, you must list a price, asking for offers is not acceptable.
  10. Goodbye :laughing-smiley-014:
  11. Sorry, thread closed. If you want to sell your honey here, feel free to register as a business trader
  12. As above, behind the bumper

  14. Top effort there mate Great write-up, looking forward to pics of the finished product
  15. Closed. One thread is enough.
  16. What a complete waste of time, unless of course you would only consider such a thing so you could still tell your mates you have a 'GTS-T' As Mars said, save the money, save the hassle, buy yourself a nice GTS and learn to drive.
  17. Another warning issued. If you post any more garbage in other peoples sale threads you will be banned.
  18. Jim, Give Just Jap in Sydney a call, they have new D Speed Japanese Carbon Fibre bonnets for R33 series 1 and 2 in stock. I spotted them when I was there on the weekend and they are a very nice bit of gear.
  19. No Adam, not capable, proven - With time slip
  20. Wall St crash and the US housing market chaos has had a ripple effect here. A week ago $1 AUD bought 107 Japanese Yen, now $1 AUD buys 90 Japanese Yen
  21. Your correct, it is a big statement. I have inspected and driven 100's of GTR's here and in Japan and from my experiences, yes, this particular car is the best I have come across. It was a fantastic buy, no doubt. Your welcome to doubt me, I don't have photos handy, and to be honest I don't think I need to pull them up. A few people on this forum know the car and would happily attest to my statement.
  22. Judging by the overall quality and presentation of the majority of cars they sell, I concur. The thread starter in this case could take a leaf out of Global Auto's book when it comes to taking good quality high resolution photos to help market a car for sale.
  23. Adam, not having a go, but I highly doubt you would see $40k for that, no matter how well it presents. It looks like a very nice car, and if you were importing it for yourself, then by all means go right ahead, but if you are thinking of bringing it in with a view to turning a quick buck, you will get a rude lesson in Australian market value As an example, my friend just picked up a 93 model here, that was by far, the best R32 GTR I have ever seen in 5 years of being a Skyline junkie. It has genuine km's, the most immaculate showroom bodywork in/out & underneath that you could ever hope to find, has a shopping list of top shelf Japanese parts, and has done a 10 second pass at WSID, and he paid $25k for it.
  24. Nice generalization
