all the autechs were actually bought straight off the line from nissan as RB25 auto, taken to the autech workshop and converted to RB26 manuals there... good to see another stag around! i've got a white RS4s, currently has a black front bar but FINALLY looking at painting it soon. D.

well i would buy it if i needed another car at the moment, even have a NEO 25 that will be left over after the rb30 goes into my stagea....... been wanting a 32 for a little while now, coolest skylines by far, after the 31 of course! but i have no need for it which means i would get killed for buying it. which is a real shame, its exactly what i would buy if i was allowed, but 4 cars is enough apparently. good luck with the sale! i have a white one, perfect for replacing a bent one. missing spoiler, badges and maybe some other bits but you can take all that from your current one. has glass. has one or two small scratches in paint, nothing major. $150 but you will have to organise freight from canberra D.

isnt the 25DE non vct head the one that will bolt straight on to an RB30 block?? im pretty sure theres a difference anyway between vct and non vct , vct blocks have different galleries for the vct oil supply to the head which is what you have to modify to use the 30 block. D.

yeh thats another good point, would there be any change to clearance of the turbo to the strut tower? im planning on low mounting a gt30 on the standard manifold...... D.

so all engine mounts fit withount any modding like redrilling holes or anything? was talking to the dude at the shop im getting to build my engine and he wont believe that it wont fit straight in... he's only done skylines which need the engine to be lowered. D.

so, question to anyone with an RB30 in the stag, did you have to do anything to make it fit height wise?? i have heard/read that stags have a little more space under the bonnet compared to skylines but does that mean that they will drop straight in and clear the strut brace and bonnet? or is the just less work to do to make it fit? ill be running a front facing plenum from CPC so that will make it a bit lower overall, will that be enough?? D.

yep, still the plan, as soon as i sell a torana ill be starting to piece it all together. but where do you go from an RB30 if you ever feel like going further? a VH conversion would be a nice step up. D.

i have a VH45 that im putting in an old holden, it came out of an old tank mercedes and it absolutely hauled!!! these are the best engines. LS1/anything holden can go to hell, i love my VH. they're extremely light and the sound........ to answer an earlier question, they're a 90degree V so they're extremely wide, fits nice and snug in an HZ engine bay so would be a very very tight fit in a stag but they've been fitted in skylines before so i guess its not impossible. id love to do a VH41 AWD transplant one day, only thing holding me back is the lack of easy manual conversion options. adaptor plates have been made and a few one offs have been made but nothing that doesnt need a bit of stuffing around yet. also, from what iv read, the VH41 are the better engines as these were built for the jap market not the US like the 45s but the good thing is that the internals are all interchangable so you can take the better VH41 and stroke it to 4.5 with the VH45 rods and pistons. worth doing because the sumps are different between the 41 and 45 so you cant just bolt the AWD sump to a 45. more info at www.vh45de.com and NICOclub.com D.

damn! i dont think they are, ka24 is a good bolt on upgrade for a 31, dont think a 33 tb would fit a 31 so by that logic, they would be different. but ill check it out just incase. anyone else?? D.
