  1. okay so with a s14 back plate i can just use the standard s14 ones obviously. Oh I'm slow at times.. thanks for making things clear
  2. yes sorry lol i know those 4 need to be changed now.. so the horizontal two ones behind the diff are fine.. I'm not too sure what they do but they look like mounts.. I could be assuming things incorrectly
  3. ok thanks... hope this isn't too many questions.. but is that for all 6 or just 4.. after this ill go find answers elsewhere cause I'm probably annoying you.. although you are very helpful so thanks
  4. is that only for the diff as we discussed or all mounts?
  5. just to check besides what we've spoken about before is the s14 subframe a direct fit into a r32 cause i heard the mount areas were 1 inch shorter?
  6. Thanks Duncan... now I know where to get them I definitely will be getting some. I have found these. Opinions? They are adjustable for camber and have well what appears to be "drop down" ball joints The only thing is they don't seem to have any brand.. and for $500 I'd prefer to buy something that is used and works well, anyone use anything like that? Maybe they're okay.. driftworks and some others look exactly the same just different colours
  7. oh cock! Okay I'll do that then.. I hope a S14 subframe is worthit
  8. those look hot.. may be an easier option than looking for a backing plate
  9. awwwwesome, Thanks I think I'm done with asking questions for now.. I'll be on the hunt for a S14 rear subframe with R200 backing plate i assume
  10. ahh also does it matter if its a non turbo or turbo subframe I thought the turbo ones could take R200 diff's which is the same as mine (well i think so anyway)
  11. Can i just grind the bump stop off.. and thanks for clearing that up.. didn't think doing the castor rod holes would have worked out.. you got a pic of yours redrilled anyway?
  12. oh I see. Thanks.. no easier options.. using my diff housing..or a S14 one.. or anything of that sort? Or a picture of how you've done it?
  13. Sorry to be such a hassle, but was that in reply to the bushes or S14 subframe
  14. lol thats a bit too dodgy for my liking aswell.. yeah downside is theyre more brittle... ahh either aluminium or those.. I'm just thinking the black ones I showed would be a bit softer. I dunno though.... I'll have a good few nights sleep to think it over only reason I'm going through all this effort to find the best is because my car is pretty low, well atleast in my opinion. Atleast at the back.. S14 much better?
  15. They're duravar UHMW polyethylene.. meant to be stronger than polyurethane ..if they are what they say they are then theyre stronger as -ene has more carbon bonds than -ane, but thats a different subject all together
  16. What you guys think of They aren't solid ones but look like the same design
  17. ahk.. yeah I'm not really too worried about whats the easiest option.. just the best I've already had the rear subframe out to change bushes and it wasn't fun.. guess I'll do it again though. And if those on a street car aren't gunna damage things, whered you get them from?
  18. well would using "drop down tie rods" as in my link above increase handling at all or wear less than normal tie rod ends seening as theyre not at a angle. And surely someone must make drop down style ball joints.. but going the other way around obviously for the front LCA's or LCA's that have them built in
  19. would you recommend the alloy lock rings for a street car.. you say less comfort but that doesnt bother me too much.. aslong as its not going to damage anything.. and any good good alloy lock rings? links or pictures would be sweet. Thanks are you meaning these http://www.jappartsuk.com/store/uploads/im..._large/1159.jpg or http://www.jappartsuk.com/store/uploads/im..._large/1158.jpg
  20. I might give the ones a try of the link I posted up.. they look similar to Simons metal ones, but theyre made out of Duravar.. which is meant to be a polyethylene type compound.. but stronger. Would be good to know if anyone has tried them?
  21. Thanks Dan, I think I'll be looking out for s S14 rack and also I'm not going to keep the gts4 LCA's for long I'm on the look out for some S14 ones and I'll miss out on the cut and shut. I get what I'm grinding off, but I'll go jack my car up and have a look at my LCA's now to see what I'm redrilling as I'm still not 100% certain.. I'm sure it will become clear after I have a look.. or I'd hope so. Sorry I didn't make the re-drill question very clear I was going off this from Dave.Ok I didn't jack it up but from what I could see.. im confused so if anyone has pictures of what the re-drilled, that would be extremely helpful. Not too sure how LCA's in my car look normally, but here is mine.. I hope its not meant to be flat.. (please excuse the bad phone pic) Also another side question.. are these recomemnded? http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/im...nTieRodEnds.jpg Thanks
  22. These looks promising.. Not that you can see the otherside of them but I'm assuming theyre flat, although they still need the standard collars so I don't know if they will make jack all difference ah sorry scratch that its late and im going blind... it says "standard lower sub-frame collars/brackets" so you can leave the top ones off I'm guessing http://www.racemod.com.au/images/products/...rame_mounts.jpg Well they have the same ones for R32
  23. mm I think the stock nissan ones protrude less than noltecs.. that wasn't a smart move on my part
  24. I will have to look into this sometime.. cbf taking my subframe out yet though.. someday and hopefully before then someone else has done it... What about cutting them because theyre pretty much the exact opposite of yours instead of going in the go out. like a little bump ..well I think the bump faced upwards I can't remember actually
  25. whats the best option to raise the subframe for a street car.. I just have noltec "drift" subframe bushes.. and good bushes or other mods you could recommend for a street car?
