  2. Man that is just ****ed. And i know what a pain in the ass regency is. It makes my blood boil when a nice car gets defected for too low etc etc, then when driving around, i see hundreds of taxis with their head lights out, mass amoounts of smoke coming out of boongas and other unroadworthy cars all that dont get the slightest looks from cops.
  3. Shit hip, what happened? Umm yeh well the reason i wasnt there was b/cos i fixed my car and it was 10pm, then i took it for a test run, and my power steering belt came off. Now i fixed that this morning and the idle has gone nuts. It idles at 2,000rpm haha. Ill fix that when i get home. Now i have to hope i can get a trouble free run....
  4. Daim i wanted to go so bad. And its even more ironic that i fixed my car that nite. Would of loved to meet u guys. I think it was good that the cruise was kept to PM only. So Rob, hurry up and organise another one so i can come!
  5. Hmm the wierd thing is that its random. I can still rev to redline sometimes if needed, althou im not goin to. It will cutout for half a sec, then continue to accelerate I checked the connections. They seemed fine. Steve: what would the 02 sesnsor behind the car have to do with it?

  9. CAS? Well im thinkin its the AFM , however the conduct cleaner did squat... Hmm could it b residual? Ill check. Its called EML contact cleaner lubricant. Cant see if its residual or not. Hmm im runnin outa ideas Also their is somethin else i forgot to mention. When i started puttin the parts back on the car, i put the BOV and airpod on. I kept the stock exhaust on unitl a few days later. Anyway the car was fine for a whole day, then the problems started happening. Actually the first sign of problems was the same day, but 2 hrs before i put the parts on, i was drivin home from work and the car wouldnt accelerate over 2500RPM or else it would splutter and stall. Geez i hope im makin sense here.

  11. Ill re check the O2 sensor and the AFM plug. I spoke to clint32, he thinks it could b my AFM. Im just confused as it was all fine before. Also will check the BOV and everything else i touched. Also I forgot to mention, the car has been stallin like crazy. I reinstalled my HKS EIDS and it seems better, still does it. It seems that it could b the AFM as a few nites ago, i was drivin from work and as soon as i got to 2500RPM, the car would splutter, not accelerate and would stall. Ill keep you updated. Am also about to buy some electrical conduct cleaner for my AFM. Hope it works.

  13. Well ive been searchin for the last hour and the closest thing I have found to my problem is it could be AFM related, however heres the story. I got defected, and hence had to replace my a/m parts with stockies. Since then I have had problems with the car. I have since re installed my exhaust BOV and pod airfilter and the problem is still occuring. What happens is that i could be cruisin in any gear like a grannie, and the power just cuts off for half a second randomly. Today it happened in 2nd at WOT 3000rpm, but moslty in 4th or 5th with 10% throttle just drivin. Now it cant be boost cut as im running stock boost, actually 8psi due to exhaust on dyno, yet as i still ahve 2 stage, i dont get anywhere over 5psi until 5000RPM, and all my problems are happenin way before 5k. I never had a problem before i had to replace my a/m parts with stock ones. So im baffled to why this is happening when my car is back to how it used to be. Ive tried reset the ECU and this did nothing. It still happens randomly. Does anyone have any ideas? This is really bad, the only thing i can think of is that i didnt install one of the hoses or parts back on properly. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

  17. Yeh but what im sayin is when i went through Regency they didnt check Rego, VIn or Eng no. Maybe i was lucky?
  18. All u do is find a similar R33 GTR stock for a day, put ur plates and rego sticker on it and put it through. As they dont have engine no. VIN no etc etc, and that it has ur plates, well then it Must b your car. Just say that the article was a hoax. If i had a GTR i would lend it to u
  19. When i was gettin a supercharger from USA, customs told me that i have to pay 15% tax, and then 10% GST. So im with Maxx. Althou Steve has got heaps of stuff without trouble. It must b the pick of the draw. Knowing me, they would def pin me assholes. Also figure this out. Its illegal to tax a tax, yet the govt. do it here. Say u buy somethin for $1000 Then add import tax 15% = 1150 Then add GST 10 %, they used the 1150 figure, not the 1000 figure. This is illegal yet the assholes do it!

  21. I worked out the theoretical top speed of an R33 manual is 294km hr This is how i did it. Put into 5th 1500RPM = 52kmh 2000RPM = 74kmh 2500RPM = 96kmh Then i guessed the gap is 22kmh per 500RPM in 5th, so i worked out that at 7000RPM, speed is 294kmh. Have no idea if this is correct thou!
