  8. a gtr cooler is good for 250 to 300rwks i have been told. try to get an r34 gtr intercooler as they are silver and have that after market affect...

  10. its all the same its got fuel pressure, power to injectors and ingnition coils, etc etc. just needs signal from immobilizer to let the ecu run the thing.....

  12. yes we all know that.... its not so simple with r34 gtr... every setting in power fc is correct for running...
  13. have got all the setting correct in the power fc. etc etc... the engine light goes out with or without the hand controller in.... my car has a mines ecu which is out of an r33 gtr with the crank angle wires swapped inside the ecu.. it runs fine..... it must bypass the immobilizer somehow being earlier model ecu... but put the r34 power fc in and no start.... all settings correct...... wish i knew how it controls the computer.(immobilizer).... cheers...
  14. installed a power fc into r34 gtr and wont start.... as per my post last week.... spent a week checking wiring etc......etc... any one know or had experience with the immobilizer unit in r34 gtrs before.. even how to bypass or hot wire it.... another guy in the uk gtr forum had the same problemb as mine and it was the immobilizer...he ended up using an r33 gtr power fc in his r34 gtr but found out later that it can be bypassed or reset.... cheers...
  15. oh well see how it goes when i get the thing running with the power fc and get it tuned..... the hks cooler looks great and should cool better at high boost i would imagine... cheers....
  16. no worries sydney kid. i just didnt also like the idea of having to modify parts to fit a expensive car... i'd prob say the same as you if i had done a few mods to fit bosch pumps to the nissan in tank brackets but unless you have all the correct fittings and clamps,wiring terminals etc to do the job you can easily waste a good 1/2 stuffing around... any how i was going to get a bosch 044 also but just didnt want to mod my pump bracket etc etc.... maybe i am just a bit lazy.. ha ha..
  17. have twin hks 2530's turbos with hks dumps. 700cc sard injectors. nismo fuel pump. nismo adj fuel reg. power fc hks type r intercooler. good 3 inch high flow cat and system. blitz id 3 boost controller. hoping for 500 to 600hp...
  18. just fiited a nismo 280lt in tank pump to my r34 gtr... fits straight in , no mods needed....comes with fuel tank rubber ring also.... i think why muck around cutting things when you can sell your old gtr pump for 300 bucks and the nismo one was 500 bucks... saves running all over the place getting clamps and fittings and 1/2 day... might be a different story for the gtst guys upgrading pumps..... cheers.
  19. what do you think about a hks type r intercooler for gtr.????? size is 600 by 300 by 103mm.. how much hp will this work with..??? just fitting one to my r34 gtr......

  22. thats why i can afford a r34 gtr is cause i am a qualified mechanic... and try to sort out my own problembs not just give up and get ripped of at some workshop.. and they say oh well we cant fix it but heres a bill for 1 grand for our time... so i think comments like yours you should keep in your head... there are guys here you all help each other with there experiances........
  23. another thing i noticed was on the ignition switch there is a small unit with 4 wires that was unplugged.. i plugged it in but made no differnce.. could this be the key code reader for the immobiler.... maybe this cuts fuel and timing....but lets it wind over.... funny as it runs with the mines ecu and these wires on the ignition switch unplugged or plugged in...
