  1. I'm looking at trading my black R33 S1 GTST for a Stagea due to pending arrival of 3rd child (eek!). If anyone is interested I will post pics and further info Basics: R33 1993 Series 1 GTS-T Black Coupe AUTOMATIC trans 118k kms (I have owned since 99k) Stockish, but has aftermarket: cat back exhaust, boost controller, apexi pod, blow off valve (not currently connected), stereo and parcel shelf speakers Work I've done on it: painted dash silver, installed boost controller, pod, blue silicon hoses, iridium plugs, parcel shelf speakers Timing belt was replaced at 100k, oil changed every 5k, radiator flushed when hoses were installed. i.e. it has been kept in good shape. So let me know if you're a Stagea owner looking at downsizing
  2. awesome thanks for your help
  3. Hi Guys Just bought some NGK iridium plugs for my series 1. The link to the guide for changing plugs in the Maintenance sticky does not work any longer. Can someone pls point me in the right direction for a step-by-step guide? i.e. what parts need to be removed to get to the plugs etc and anything to keep an eye out for? The attendant said these plugs are pre gapped and I dont need to worry about gapping them. Im running only about 5 PSI if that makes a difference. Cheers
  4. Item: Drift Blow Off Valve including the R33 Mount Plate Age: Bought 2/3/08 Condition: 7 week old condition! Price: $200 incl post, or pickup To Fit: Fits my R33, BOV will fit anything but not 100% sure about mount Location: Adelaide (Nth (Dodgy!) Suburbs) Contact: uneeek@gmail.com Comments: Its making my R33 slushbox run rich, stalled it a few times, cbf sorting it out and have just reverted to stock plumback. It comes with trumpet and street legal plumback attachment, which you can keep in your glove box in case the boys in blue pull you over
  5. Well I've done my dash and other surrounds. Wont be doing it again in a hurry, but I did scratch it putting it back in...so maybe next Easter. Looks like I've gone a step further and done the door handles and side pockets of the door as well as the vents. I'd also like to do the demister vents, but have really had enough of this entire process! I rubbed most of the rubber off by hand. Metho works and so does Acetone, but you still need to give it some elbow grease. Few coats of primer, few coats of paint and quite a few coats of acrylic top coat clear. Main dash Driver door Passenger door Fairly impressed with the result.
  6. thanks, i'll get a mate to check it out when we take the dash off to paint it. I have NFI what relays are but he should know. It may have been an aftermarket alarm as the little switch spot to the left of the steering wheel is empty, so something was there once but removed before i bought it
  7. may have been me...dont see too many skylines around here
  8. I have this problem where after I use my indicator I keep hearing the noise sporadically for a few minutes. The indicator isn't flashing on the dash or on the car, it's just making the noise...and it's not the consistent indicator noise as it sometimes goes fast and then slow. The only that that has been changed in the car since it happened was connecting the LED on my boost guage to the cigarette lighter wiring. Surely this wouldn't have anything to do with it? I dont know if the noise is mechanical or electrical though? It's really weird...anyone had this prob before? It's an R33 S1 GTST slush
  9. dude the GTS is in full time lag mode
  10. cheers. Got it off without removing the knob, just put it in N and guided it over. Have painted that bit, the drivers side rest and the passenger bit where the window button is. In silver of course (for a black 2 door). Started rubbing the rubber off the rest of the dash while Im waiting at traffic lights in the hope it'll be nice and flat ready to paint over the long weekend
  11. I bought a stockish s1 33. It only had a aftermarket head unit, cat back exhaust and crappy rear speakers which werent mounted. In order I've done: - apexi pod - 6x9's in the rear shelf - drift bov - cheapy boost guage - the $22 boost controller (works a bloody charm!!) - silicon hoses - tyres! I've replaced all tyres and I only bought it a month ago. Next things Im considering (in no particular order): - FMIC - dump and front pipe - hi-flow cat - body kit - 18" wheels Unfortunately I need to stick to cheap mods so the bottom 2 will have to wait. I'd appreciate any suggestions as well, without hi-jacking
  12. Call me useless but I cant get the first stage done. I've removed ash tray and undone the 2 screws in my series 1 gtst (auto). The thing wont budge at all. Is there any area in particular I should be focusing on? i.e. trying to pull it outwards, or up and then out, or trying to find some clips to undo?
  13. hey can i get some pics of rims, bov, boost guage...i think that will do how much tread is left on the wheels? uneeek@gmail.com thanks man
  14. PM'd for the heat shield
  15. Bought apexi pod filter, fast delivery etc etc

  16. Excellent boot sent out very promptly, cheers

  17. Couldnt find an answer after searching so just want to know if 6.5's will fit without any sort of modification, or are the stock standard speakers 6"? I have had aftermarket speakers in since I bought it but they are crap and arent even mounted at all (they're a big box of something, sound like crap though), slip around everytime I hit a corner! thanks
  18. Im no skyline expert, but Im pretty sure you'll find it is 65L, not 55.
  19. Wouldnt it be cheaper doing it yourself? I think there's a thread (maybe in DIY) where people are painting their own for $30-40. I was thinking of doing the same thing, but not being any sort of paint expert I'd have no idea how to get a brushed metal look.
  20. yeah i'll take it cheers
  21. 65L dude
  22. Hey Im a slush box driver and only need the handbrake boot, so if anyone needs just the gear boot and wants to go halvies let me know and you'll have another buyer
