  1. Yeah I was thinking the same thing after I posted that, Andrew. No worries
  2. Shit, Tiesto back at Heaven?! That's insane!! I know trance used to be huge in the heaven days, with Dr Damage being much bigger on the scene back then. Top Adelaide trance DJ, but doesn't get the spots that he deserves these days (recovery at 58's at 4am onwards isn't cool). Don't worry, all the kids will soon jump off the leather jacket/fluro headband/over-sized singlet band-wagon soon. And Tydi appearing at Vodka Bar, Garage, etc is also a step in the right direction. Sweet shirt, btw!
  3. Torrents. Get someone to help you set up the torrent client, though, cos you need to open up ports and shit. Edited
  4. I've always sworn by BP 98. With all my turbo cars. I'll even go out of my way to drive to a BP to fill up. It's how I f**king roll around here. BP = Big Penis. That's why I go there.
  5. well played, sir.
  6. You sure it's 98? I asked what their Ultimate was, and they said 95!
  7. Sounds like they new what they wanted then, rather than just taking the head unit. And since when has Hallett Cove been any sort of decent area? I went to school there for 5 years and it's just as bad as Noarlunga, just the houses look more expensive. You'd be amazed at the amount of 'crews' in that area. Cars get stolen quite often around there.
  8. Yeah I love techy-trance. When I was in Melbourne, I ventured down to Platform One for their trance night. It was def an experience, but after Tydi and Marlo finished, one of the locals came on to play a real techy-style trance set. Sounded effing amazing! Not many vocal tracks, just real techy sort of stuff. Although Melbourne seems to be king of Australia when it comes to trance nights... they have at least one night each week of pure trance. Infact, trance is coming back in Adelaide in quite a big way thanks to Frosty and Ben Gunner - Adelaide's 2 biggest trance promoters. There's heaps of hardstyle stuff coming back, too, all at L!ve. Not that I'm into that stuff. 2010 is set to be quite a big year for trance acts in Adelaide With the numbers that a few acts at HQ and St Pauls drew in, it's got the bigger clubs like HQ changing their lineups a bit more frequently, which is really good. I expect alot more trance acts to make it into the main room at the Q, which is awesome considering they have the best sound system out of any club in Adelaide (apart from the entertainment centre, which obviously isn't a club). I'm sick of hearing the usual Warp 1.9 or Mars track being dropped at most clubs in Adelaide. Sick of it and all the commercial crap that gets flooded around here.
  9. I don't know if anyone here followed this, but it's a good read: http://www.wired.com/magazine/2009/12/fail_duke_nukem/ Duke Nuken: Forever... I remember them talking about releasing it way back in '98!! But there's the full story about it. Shame it never got released.
  10. We're beaten by Latvia and Bulgaria? This disgusts me. And what the f**k is the Aland Islands?!
  11. Luke, yours is legal regardless if it's velcro'd, duct taped or bolted... it's not in any crash zone. Unless they've brought in new laws that state that area is a crash zone incase someone is sitting in the middle seat in the back, doesn't wear their seatbelt and goes flying forward. Chad, yours is illegal. f**k knows how you got that through Regency, but that's the first place cops will look for a gauge and will defect you straight away... even if it's in one of those cup things. But, it all depends on the cop that pulls you over. I had a gauge there for ages and 2 cops didn't seem to mind yet another one did. Where's the f**king consistency in this state?!
  12. Depends on the cop.
  13. What? I thought Autosalon was dead? A media statement was released and all...
  14. That ramp looks quite scary.
  15. Yes.
  16. It's 6 points when 45k+ over. So even if you're doing 200 over the limit, you still get 6 points.
  17. Yep same. I was done by a camera, got a knock on the door a few weeks later, went down to the shop for a interview but they had about 8 pics of my car but couldn't see who was driving due to the glare on the windscreen from the angle of the car. They could only guess I was driving since I was the owner of the car. But I just co-operated with them which made their job easier, so they let me off much 'easier'. It's funny actually seeing the picture quality that these radars take... very poor quality. Everything was pixelated to all shit. You could barely even make out my number plate.
  18. Yeah I got done for excessive speed early last year. Lost mine for 6 months. Plus you get hit with 6 demerit points. I was lucky as the cop was going to take me to court to throw the driving without due care and all the rest, charges onto me which would have been much worse! And I didn't want to go to court again, seeing as I've already been to contest my "Not wearing a seatbelt in the back seat and receiving 3 demerit points for it even though I wasn't driving" fine. But... you live and learn none of us are angels on the road regardless if you have a GTR or a Excel.
  19. Excessive speed, I'm guessing?
  20. Well you can't have it on the pillar, on the dash above the steering wheel, behind the steering wheel on the column or below the dash where your legs are, as these are all 'crash zones'. Legally, just throw it on the centre of the dash like what some HSV's or FPV's have... That's legal. Otherwise you'll get hassled.
  21. It's stupidly hot outside at the moment... I'd hate to see temps up north!
  22. Copypasta Damo!
  23. Epic! I'm spending tomorrow decorating the shit out of a hotel room I rented for this chicks birthday. I've hired a helium gas cylinder and shit for the balloons... gonna look crazy haha.
  24. My old turbo on my B6T-equipped Mazda could handle 15psi on the odd-occasion. That was even with a side-mount cooler. Just upped it, flogged it for a few minutes then put it back to 10psi. It happily ran that way for years until the chassis cracked. And that was a stock little turbo that's only designed to run at 6psi.
