i found with mine was pretty clean but once you spray inside little holes and move the spring that's where i found most build up was. how many rpm on idle? did you check your afm ? there was a post on someone fixing up afms by soldering connection, this might be the case also. mine had a bit of issue with idle and i found by doing these steps it fixed now

did you get send to epa? if so better of to source a airbox and be done with it , that wont pass epa . airbox will be better in every aspect , no more easy defect and your car will run better

that looks more trouble than its worth to be honest , i noticed uneven gap around door not shuting ok , might just need adjustment but it might been smashed and then done in blue. engine looks bad but i guess with but cleanup would be looking mint but what about wear and tear. as R31Nismoid check with importers and you will be better off. on another note its your cash and if you want to get that car then go for it we are just stating the obvious and our opinions cheers

im not sure where is this pioneer recent price rise and he wasn't taking about 999 dollar spits but splits that are $300 at most shops so those splits Kevin actually asked about and gave us part numbers will be very good, i also own the sub you want and its great pumps nice as for pioneer amps, kenwood, alpine they do alright but there's better out there what should really be asked is what your budget is and go form there splits in rear aren't necessary unless you have people at back all time but they can be faded out anyhow most times you wont use anything in abck and spend that money upfront

i would get seats first then depending which ones you get , get rails to suit , if recaro they have rails on ebay for them.
