    There are heaps of black coolers out there.... I have the plazmaman stealth cooler but there are a heap out there making them now, i think Just Jap have cheap ones....

    Pretty sure there is an old ratty black cooler in my shed that belongs to a mate too, might need a clean up but he will probably sell it to ya cheap :thumbsup:

  2. only thing i can think of personally is ask a crash shop if they have any left over bumpers they arent using, normally on the inside of the bumper they have a code on it saying (pp or pe or abs etc) normally pp is the common plastic made for bumpers, but check your own aswell.

    then go get it plastic welded, i know some crash shops do plastic welding but depends where you are.

    Can you get some close ups of the problem areas? i know the black parts you mean but how bad are they?

    You might need to get a 2nd hand bar and start again trimming a little then trial fitting until you get it just right. Took me and my old man about 5 goes but it sits nice and flush.

    PS the top mount looks tough :thumbsup:

    Sure can, i have to take them for the workshop responsible to see so i will post them once i have them.... I really want to hide the pipes and am considering black mesh in front of the cooler to protect it and to continue the stealth theme.....

    I have a crack in the top tank of my R34 GTT (1999) radiator, i can get a second hand radiator for about $150. but was wondering if this is a job you can do yourself

    if you dont have the best car maintance knowledge?

    Has anyone done this before, the car has a thermo fan on the front of the radiator also.

    can anyone drop some knowledge on me

    Its an easy job to replace the actual radiator itself but MAKE SURE you bleed the cooling system correctly, if you are not confident then dont do it!

    As for the fan, if you mean in front of the radiator then its probably the A/C fan you are referring too, there should be a condenser between the fan and the radiator?

    definitely made up my mind and getting the adjustible arms now.

    Mark/MLR, do they do good work @ jax??

    I put the Superpro ones in man, my mate showed me the tricks to fitting them and the second side i did in the car without any drama.... Hammer to knock the old bush out, a couple of accurate love taps and they fall out and then when fitting the new ones in i just used a monster set of multi grips and squeezed them in, was pretty easy to fit.... As for adjustment, i reckon its going to be harder but it all depends on the competence of the tyre guys you use i guess......

    OR i could just leave them adjusted where they are at MAX neg camber :nyaanyaa:

  5. I highly recommend you use the one's that 666DAN has, i have in my car and couldn't be happier with the results.... :worship:

    Do the 3 guages and the A/C screen too as they look awesome.

  6. Ok, as the title states... I NOW have a front bar that has been butchered by an unprofessional clown and i now need options to repair it....

    The car is an R34 GTT and it has the standard front bar which i wish to retain.

    Easiest fix is to get a new one and cut it correctly but at the moment i do not have the cash to do so and figured there are plenty of clever guys on SAU that may have a solution.

    Problem 1) the bar was cut too far and now sits nearly and inch back from the intercooler.....

    Problem 2) the black plastic sections to the left and right of the bar that feed air through are cut up and even broken due to the cooler piping location.

    Plan was to get the cooler remounted properly and straight, however judging by the size of the thing its still going to fit that far forward, is there a way to make either a black mesh section or possible a fiberglass insert that still retails the original shape but instead of 2 vents it becomes 1 with the fibreglass moulding around the piping?

    Next problem i face is how do i regain the bar that has been molested? Can you fibreglass, fill & paint?

    Basically i know absolutely NOTHING about bodywork but i do know that my front bar now looks like a huge pile of sh*t and i want it fixed....

    I have circled the problem areas in red -

    If anyone has any thoughts on a cheap fix then i'm keen to hear.... Alternatively if someone has a cheap enough white bar i am also happy.... The car looked tough and now it looks dodgy

  7. Just going on the pictures, you can quite clearly see that the turbine side (exhaust wheel) is much larger and looks to be steel in the after shot. Very confident that if those pictures are of the same turbo and it is on your car, you have high flow job.

    Dude, i only posted them for an example for the guy that started the topic :cool: That turbo was off my R34......... Was trying to help!

Well, although f**k all has been happening with the car due to a bad experience with Blacktrack Performance and the $$ situation, i have removed the alloy rad and blue hoses and gone back to stock items as it suits the build much better, i had the 52mm rad in but it caused the engine fan to hit the shroud and i had no intention of going too a thermo setup.

    As you can see when you step back from the car the engine bay has no BLING, so it does not look out of place..... Btw the cooler pipes will be hidden too, but someone butchered and f**ked my front bar...... (PS - sorry about the volkswagon ruining the image on this site, i know its blasphemy LOL)

    You can see the car hiding in the shed, buying the property has slowed my build right down so i figured i would include it in the build thread as its all been a part of the long and slow process

    So, basically its back to the standard interior next and then finish the brake lines and suspension, i might get some pics of the brake line change etc if i get the time....

    Plazmaman intake pipe with vacuum fitting - $50.00 (Was not used from the kit)

    18inch tyres 235/40/18 x 4 with camber wear, good for skids - $100.00

    Brand new (basically) Sunew 18inch 235/40/18 - $75.00

    GCG complete water and oil line kit $300.00 with reciept from GCG for $375.00 Including postage anywhere in AUS, open to offers

    Roll cage alone has had offers of $1100 so far and next one may get it as i need an ECU

    Recaro and bride rail had offers of $500 so far and next one above that may get it as i need an ECU

    Harnesses can go for $150.00 each including bags and all parts needed

    After the WORST workshop experience of my life i now need to replace my front bar as the IDIOTS hacked the PHUCK out of it when i didn't ask them to touch it!!!

    NEVER use BLACKTRACK PERFORMANCE in Thornton NSW EVER if you actually care about your car! Learn from my mistake and use someone else.....

    Chasing a standard white front bar in good condition to suit R34 GTT ???

    Also, chasing a standard airbox snorkel for my car, if others fit the same sort of space then let me know what you have ???

    A long shot here, BUT also need to replace the HKS emblem on my fuel rail as BLACKTRACK managed to "Lose it"..... Bullshit if you ask me!!! Any importers know how to acquire one???

    There will be more parts needed but for now this will get me started.
