[jokes, no offence intended] i find people get behind me at the lights thinking i will take off faster than the others.... i dont... people assume a P-plater with a r34 would floor it and speed around. i take off slow, stay at the speed limit most the time[sometimes 1-3kms over] and drive nicely coz i love my car. ive had so many damn people tailgate me thinking i would go faster and give up and speed off when they get a chance. im not saying i dont speed i get like a 5sec burst on the hw on my way to work sometimes but most times i control my urges to do stupid things coz i love my car and mostly all my friends who have nice cars are the same. i do get some p-platers in excels and lancers reving next to me and speeding off, never had someone in a sports car do it. had a van revving and skidding off at the lights once....

so you guys will never guess what i saw... a dumbass magna driving erratically on the freeway he passed me going over 100 in the 80 zone over the bridge right into the back of another car and speed off. the back bumper of the magna was ripped off and boot was loose and open before the crash. but thats not what i'm refering to. on my way back after dropping my gf off i saw a car tailgating me a bit. so when we got the the light there was 2 turning lanes and i knew it was a taxi so i stopped a bit early to see the number plate and its the same plates as the one that caused my accident i thought about following him and then decking him when he stopped but decided to just go home and calmly. got a clear look at the car this time campany is White eagle M C taxi.. got a phone number for them too... still kinda angry

im a P plater and had my license for a year and a bit and i nearly spun out turning onto left onto morely drive from wannaroo road, just now coming home from the movies i spun out coz i made a wrong decision, instead of stopping at the light i kept going[not accelerating] and acclerated at the wrong time so i spun out and stalled on the kurb. but this has nothing to do with me having a high powered car. i drive like a granny most times. banning P platers from hp cars wouldnt help and as some of you have said making the driving test include situations which would teach you how to respond. when i spun out it was my fault coz i am inexperienced but i wasnt speeding or hooning around. banning drivers from a certain type of car isnt fair because it will make it harder for the new drivers fomiliarize themselves to their cars and how to drive in different seasons[unless they are an idiot who buys the car thinking they can drive coz they play nfs and watch fast and furious]

ok thanks. so its just a straight swap?? swap the stock with aftermarket?? a few of my friends have told me there are things i have to ajust and if i dont do it properly then the cars height will be uneven and the car might lose control.. i have a friend who did his holden himself and is willing to help but he is unsure about my 34 btw i know little about cars hoping to learn more everyday

hey ive had neons sitting around for a while coz no one could install them.. does anyone know how to hardwire them to the cig lighter?? i've decided to do it myself but i dont know how to connect it to the cig lighter and i dont want to just use the plug cars a R34 gtt Thanks Sunny

hey im buying springs and was wondering if i should do the job with friends or go to a suspension place and do it. my friends done this kinda thing before but my other friends are saying its too dangerous

friday night i was on my way to timezone in northbridge.. driving infront of the convention center saw a bunch of people so i sped up and got close to the kurb... hit a puddle but ti missed them my car was full of my little sister and her friends coz i was supervising her bday party thingy at night... they laughed their asses off

i got my car back and they screwed me!! the left wheels not straight.. the gap between the guard is so tiny so when i turn it grinds on the little pod-skirt.. now they say bring it back and they will fix it... friend looked at it and he said the k frames bent and it would take like 3 weeks to replace it and stuff..... and i got pulled over last night for speeding... the cop gets to my car and starts yelling... then he threatened me with his dog?? lol Cop:"do you hear my friend there? he does not like it when i get pissed off" me:"is that a threat?" Cop:"no but if you want i can take you to the stationa nd explain a bit more". but i was speeding on the fw so it was my fault but he was pretty funny. at teh end he ended up not giving me a ticket

i think i read somewhere in this topic that mel has to walk a bit to go to lunch or smething. we should make a sauwa event of splashing her with a bus. two members could jump her and hold her next to a puddle and get soaked along with her?? anyone up for it??? i have stupid ideas until you do it and it becomes a fun event

oh btw im looking to borrow a whole set coz i have aftermarket rims and since i have to pay 3k excess im gonna be broke for about amonth and cant get new rims

yes like that one... will you only have one spare or the whole set?? i need these urgently coz the repairers want me to sigh a disclaimer or something saying if my rims fail its not their fault and blah blah blah so this has put me off....

update. i've talked to the repairer and my car should be ready to pick up sometime next week but they can't find any rims to replace the damaged one so they have welded it back up and are putting it back on. do you guys/girls know what would be the best place to try and find them? the repairer said they are "japanese racing brand copy" but seeing the rims came from japan i dont know if they are real or not. I've also talked to the cop and it took them 3 weeks for my file to be given to a station to be investigated but it wont get investigated for a while coz they are still looking into stuff from february still stuck with a 3grand excess bill

i tried doing it to the kids at my lil sisters school when i picked her up.... complete failure coz its scary trying to pick up speed when a kid can jump out infront of the car... although they got scared of my revving and bov btw i was 18 when i tried[still am lol] when i say kids they are year 10+ .. younger ones go from another area and are picked up early... didnt want you guys thinking im doing at a primary school...
