  1. It's probably an ignition issue. Try swapping an ignitor with a buddy and see if that works. Also, what are you gaping the plugs to and what kind of coils are you running? Pull the cover off an pull the coil plugs off one at a time. the one that doesn't just about kill the motor and sounds the same is your problem cylinder. Your car probably isn't actually running lean. If you don't have spark in one cylinder then air and fuel is just passing threw causing the wideband to read lean. Hope that helps.
  2. The block should be fine at 300kw regardless of bore but it is up to you whether or not you feel 50cc's is worth the small risk. Only early r32 cranks had the narrow collar issue. It was fixed in the later (92+) r32's and all the 33 and 34's are OK. IMO if you got a cheap 2.8 stroker crank why not? Your gonna get power hungry anyway and go for more down the line anyway.
  3. Are you sure they are alcons? they may be the rotora/grex calipers. if you post a picture I could tell you
  4. Will the pump pull vacuum? Would it be possible to upgrade to a pump that will?
  5. http://www.sthitec.co.nz/ go to customers cars, and click on Andy's GTR.
  6. So does this still use the original oil pickup or will I need to weld a bung on somewhere?will it work with most applications (ATI 1000hp?) Would oil temps drop or would it be the same as a stock style pump?
  7. Hey I've got a R32 GTR with plans to hit the track alot in 09. I've already got quite a bit of engine/drivetrain mods but I am turning my attention to the suspension. I'm looking into suspension arms/bushings/pillowball mounts and all that stuff that every company seems to have a different name for (I'm sure I'm not the only confused guy.) My question is what are the most important arms/bushings to do and what ones can wait till I get alittle more serious. I know SK's groupbuy looks good but I belive thats more of a street setup. I would like as many heim joints as possible and urethane bushings if required. What is a good company to get everything I need from? Here are my suspension mods this far: HKS coilovers Cusco front upper camber arms Auto select front strut bar Factory nissan rear strut bar. R34 wheels with 15mm spacer (18x9 +15 now) 265/35R18 Kuhmo XS 355mm Greddy 6pots front Stock rear brakes
  8. Will it work with my trust sump or would it need a new sump? When does this group buy end? Down the road how easily is the converted or upgraded (Dry sump?) Would this be a good setup for a track orientated GTR? thanks
  9. Just thinking about engine builds and was wondering about the extra weight of the RB30? has anyone actually weighed there car before and after the swap? if so did you change anything else?
  10. I'm in the process of building my car and bought a nice OS giken TSB2 to install. When I pulled the engine I found I had a HKS GD MAX twin plate already installed from when I bought my car. I'm not sure if I want to rebuild the HKS or run the OS giken so I'm trying to find a lightweight flywheel for either of them. They both have heavy steel flywheels and If I can find a lightwieght flywheel it would make the decision easy. So if anyone knows where I can get a lightweight flywheel for either of them just let me know. OS giken or HKS don't make them but one might work with a nismo or jun flywheel. Thanks alot
