  1. He's in NSW on his Ps fellas, no V8s, turbos or 'high performace' 6s.
  2. Yeah, I think it was S bends. skim unity is the forum. Anyway bed time. Hopefully the ex wont wake me up at 11, 12 and again at 1 tonite. Cyas!
  3. Down at S bends?
  4. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8532825865726924257 SKIM VID SKIM VID!!! (one from the weekend, so Im actually in it!)
  5. Thats it hey. Its the 'unknown' factor. You dont know what is in their car, what they are on, why they cut you off, who they are etc. He could have just robbed a bank, killed the guard and not give a rats if your the next victim. Seriously dude, say on your average 30min trip, you could let 5 cars in, the MAXIUM that is going to add to your trip is 1min if its heavy traffic. But in regards to the keying thing, I hope the barstards get real bad hurt, by say an angry bull shark or something. Keying reallly gets on my nerves, if they push hard enough its got to be the hardest thing to fix up properly.
  6. Maybe even just buy another type of nice car that isnt a grey import. Your still going to get hit hard insurance wise, but no where near as bad. Like a subi RX something. But hey, you do come on here, ask for some form of advice, you get it, and then choose to ignore it. The lesson here is learn from others mistakes. Dont make your own if you dont have to. (and really, do you get that many looks in an NA skyline?)
  7. I think they have other double kits which are a bit higher end as well.
  8. Yeah kinda dude... But thats what they give you AFTER you have paid for the policy, and AFTER you have paid them the excess, and AFTER they have gotten your car to keep, sold all the good bits left on it, and cashed in the remaining rego... So the real figure you get back is maybe $3k.
  9. Thats an online quote correct? Either way the other bits of the policy say they get to keep the car, and rego etc. So you fork out $700, car gets stolen, you then have to fork out a further $1300 ($2k so far) then if the car is recovered they keep that, and give you effectvly $3k... And thats assuming they dont hit you harder when you actually ring them up to get a proper quote.
  10. Not a hope dude. Its a grey import, they wont touch you. You at the age of 17 have the options of just cars and well.. just cars. Its the best you are going to get, you are seen as a major liablity. As said get a small little run about type car, have full compo on that, learn how to drive etc, get the premium down, and in 5 years when the insurance companies no longer look at your current driving history then you could look at your fancy car. Its just life hey dude.
  11. LOL! Yeah actually I remember a Nissan recall... On the ex-trails. My old work had them. There was some problem with the fuel tank and its had the potential to just explode or something so they had to call in quite a few... This was over 2 YEARS!!! after my work had, had the cars!!! It took them that long to work it out! And porka... well they were making the largest profit (percentage wise from memory) of any car manufacture a few years back. I think they would have the money to make sure they had 'no' problems. Be realistic, it just no posible to get it 100% right. We are talking production models here too, not the test mules...
  12. Yeah dude, its been done 2-3 times before without a problem. The only people who get lost are the ones that dont listen and dont follow the map. Even then its pretty bloody hard if your just following everyone else. These things are organised with knowledge of the potential numbers. Like we wouldnt go along a road with 200 traffic lights etc.
  13. go search 'cabo skim' on youtube. Its probably the best video to give you a good idea. But those guys are REALLY good, and REALLY crazy, and probably get hurt a lot. That and we just dont have waves like that to practice on in qld. But anyway sleepy bo bo's time for me. Im stuffed.
  14. Bit on the face, not too bad. Just the rest of my body is RS, I was running rather fast, which results in falling rather fast... But damn when you nail it! That and we had a big meet today, so about 12-15 skimmers at one stage!
  15. Tops one of the best skimboarding sessions ever! Got up the coast at 8am, left at 3.30pm or something only had about 1hours break! Just tooo much fun!
  16. And if he was an ICE addict, you'd be dead!
  17. Oh PS. SUCK EGGS!!! HAW HAW HAW!
  18. Man, you really need to get a bit of a life. Hell even if its computer games or something... porn even!
  19. You know I was thinking about this the other day. How many billion is spent on that silly war in iraq? How many people have died from that? What has that achived? How many billion is spent on oil tankers and their guidance systems, yet they still crash then have spills. How many billion are spent on aircraft and all their accociated systems, yet they still have problems, hell you cant even use electronic devices in them... would have thought there would have been some advancment in the past 40 years or so... So reallllly 1bill on a car where a lot of that money was on the robots to build them and other cars... and to have only two recalls, and actually pick up on them... I dont think its too bad. Especially when you think they could have just dumped the project, car is done sold who cares. At least they are still testing. But hey, its a skyline forum...
  20. No one can get a word in edge ways thats why!
  21. Ugly. I dont like rotors. No roof. And ALL 2 doors!!! Subi liberty 3.0R spec B thanks The lines of the car are perfect.
  22. See man, he seems as if he could have been generally interested. You make us import drivers look bad man. Now as penance 21 hail marys... LOL!
  23. The only japanese car Id consider buying would be a Subaru hey. As a new car, that is locally sold here.
  24. But bang for buck they are pretty damn good. As we have lots of highways they are pretty damn good on fuel...
