  1. Yes. It's a complicated system of brass fittings and contact points.... lol Seriously it's just like an 'extention' of the same thing they use on aftermarket horn buttons.
  2. Ok just to set a few things straight for StageaGirl and other Perth people, I work with my brother Trent at TKO Tinting in Victoria Park: - 35% is the darkest tint you can have on all the windows except the front windscreen. - NO ONE can match the '5 Year Coat' tinted glass from Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi etc... you can get close but it won't be exact. Reason being that the tinted glass starts off as a clear, and the straight black tinted particles are added to it during the process. So in effect the tinted glass is Clear + Black (glass). The front windows on the other hand have a green UV reducing finish to them, so adding dark tint on top of it means it's clear/green (glass) + Black (film) = the colours are different. Also, to match the % of the glass to the rear windows with tint, the film still looks too light in comparison. The tinted glass looks deceptive in that it looks darker than what the digital light meter tells you. - Jeff Ash from C-Red gets all his imports done through us, and he's given up trying to match the tint to the tinted glass. We've also done Stageas (one just 2 weeks ago) with the same result. - All 5 windows on a Falcon starts at $245 at TKO...
  3. Mark: The Japanese I typed says: 'If you can read this sentence then I think your Japanese is pretty good y0!'... lol I don't know of an *easy* way to learn the Kana's, but a good start is to get a chart of all the Hiragana/Katakana and practice reading them first, then writing them down on your OWN HADWRITTEN chart, then use you handwritten chart for future reference. I recommend this because each time you refer back to your chart, you're reminded of the characters that you wrote... kind if reinforcing through your mind the actions you did to write each character.... it helped me alot, and I got satisfaction of actually writing something in another language for the first time.
  4. Thanks Goldzilla... but I wasn't at the show I'm on Response.jp's mailing list. Hers MASA's M35 Stagea: Hmmmm, I've never been a fan of the M35's huge headlights (although the whole car looks great in the metal) and those headlight surrounds are drawing attention too them... I'd rather get some eyelids to make them smaller/slimmer. Heres something not fpr sale in Australia, but a Nissan wagon nonetheless: Evo 9 headlights and lambo doors on a medium sized station wagon... it's a Nissan Wingroad.

  14. It was at Auto Gallery Tokyo 2006. The show is not as full on as Tokyo Auto Salon, but a few places like Show Up, MASA Motorsports and Meister have cars there usually.
  15. I can't see any pics... that 2L V10 sounds very interesting
  16. Thanks to Response.jp for the heads up... "Total body modification" is the order of the day now. Should see some real monster body modified cars at next years Tokyo Auto Salon.

  21. I can do it for you too, if you want to deal with someone local
  22. I've got a quick release that looks almost exactly the same as the Just Jap ones except mine is from Japan (assuming the Just Jap ones are copies?). The build quality is so tight that it has absolutely zero play in it at all, in fact I would go as far to say that it's a little too tight, as getting the wheel off takes some fiddling around. The only gripe I have is that the indicator stalk is now just out of reach of fully stretched fingers... lol
  23. Yeah shaken for my HCR32 was around 100,000yen. Ever driven a Honda Z? I know they look more like a mini 4WD, but Honda factory turbo does have a ring to it... I've never seen any modded examples around, just the odd one in traffic. Like I said I've never really been into Kei's, even after 5+ years in Japan never really bothered to check them out... although I did borrow a friends AT Suzuki Wagon R RR (with BOV) for a couple of days lol... but this has been pretty interesting. Thanks for the insight
  24. Your car still looks fairly new, when is it up for shaken? Will any of those mods (particularly the e-manage) have to come off to get passed?
  25. Are you guys just using the CD's only? Are you studying hiragana/katakana/kanji aswell (reading and writing)? もしこの文を読めたら、あなたの日本語をうまいと思いますよ。
