I have been really happy with my V35 but I now will be getting a car allowance for work. I presume that I will have to spend some money in the process & can't really find anything that I am happy with & I still love my V35. About the only thing that I would be interested in is a V36 or the new Infiniti Coupe but that is probably going to be around the 100k mark which I don't want to spend. So for the money the only car that I am remotely interested in is the V36. I do have a few reservations though. What could be the impact of the new Infiniti on this model if I sell it in a couple of years from now? Are there any other factors that I should consider if I do look at getting one? I don't know a great deal about them as I always thought that they were a bit out of my price range. I also do not know a great deal about the various models on offer. Is the Japanese instrumentation & entertainment system a pain to operate? There are not a lot of them available on carsales.com.au. Are there some other places that I should be looking? I have a manual V35 but may consider an auto. I do not think that there are a lot of manuals available. I would also like either black or red preferably with a sunroof. Again that may be a hard ask. Any discussion would be appreciated :-)

For the sake of a few dollars I would say go ahead with what you think is best.

I would hang in there & you will find someone like I did. It took a while but once I found the right person it was all done & dusted very quickly & at a small cost.

I traded my V35 airbag cover (not the whole unit) with a guy from G35 driver after searching for a while to find a person that was wiling to do so. I also picked up an engine cover which again took a while to find someone that was willing to ship it. Surely someone can help you with this.

Mine seem to be fine straight out of the box & into the car. The only thing that concerns me is that the fit in one of them RHS is not that good & there is a bit of a gap. I would like to know how to adjust that?

Looking forward to getting the taillights. WIll I have to seal them with some "goo" also? I did see the boot release on G35 although I did not look into it that much. I would be interested in taking it off your hands if it is not too hard to install.

All done & looking fantastic. If I can do it then anybody can, it really is an easy job. Has anyone installed new taillights? I have some on order so that is the next job.

Nearly done with my install. I have one light that has the orange indicator light stuck on. Can anyone tell me what wire it is that I need to cut? I think it is on here somewhere but hey if you know just tell me now

If I put the headlights in without adjusting the lights are they likely to be aimed correctly? From what I saw it is going to be hard to adjust them afterwards without having to take things off again to adjust.

Got my HID cable so I am ready to go. Just not sure about a couple of options from the install. I also got some 2006 taillights (I wish I had not seen them on the weekend!). If anyone needs a set of mint 2004 taillights PM me. Andrew is there a chance of us getting together over this weekend or next to do the other cars? I am confident of putting them in but not adjusting them or various wiring options. Can bring cider ;-)

I am pretty sure they are dual filament. The look like the same ones in the eBay link for high beams posted above. I have also got my HID cables from a member in here for $35 inc shipping. He also has ballasts for Dog with Bone $70. I should have them on Wed. 'Cider time' if you can assist us again! I was wondering if it would be better to install them at night to be able to adjust the angle of the beam? Can't wait to fit them! Wish I had not seen the 2006 rear Tailights in the weekend. Now I want a pair of them! Any idea where I could find them?

Where do you turn on the fog lights? I have never noticed them!

Looking for a HID ignitor cable for a V35. Has anyone got one that they can sell or if not does anyone know where I can get them?

Just a quick update for all of the guys doing this install. Today 4 of us got together in Adelaide to do this install. Looks pretty easy thanks to Nightcrawler showing us how. 2 of the cars could not be done because we had halogens & our cars were missing the HID ignitor cable. Best to check yours out before trying this. Would anyone know where we could get these cables? Locally would be best if available.

Got mine also. They come in a very big box! I have only opened one but it looks like is has a bulb in the high beam???
