Trel, the car inspection bloke. Do you have his details? I need to have a full inspection done when in july or so when im looking to buy an r33 as well, and he sounds like he knows what he's talking about. How much does he change for the inspection?

I was hit in the rear by a taxi once. I was found to be at fault by my insurance company. Why? Because, technically, I didnt provide him with enough room/time to brake once I got into his lane. Basically, he was in my blind spot, and I cut him off in order to turn right into a street. If this gentleman was driving eratically, quickly got into your lane and slammed on the anchors, you could argue the same point right?

Wow, the 3A Racing seems to be the go. I always love it when 'cheap brand' items rate the highest. I guess its why I love Jacar Response Car audio as well. Whats the induction noise of those 3A filters? Anyone had experience with these filters?

I take it the Apexi isn't one of the foam types? How much for one of these pods you speak of?

Hi guys, Obviously one of the first things a Skyliner does is install a Pod. What I want to know is, what is the best type, brand etc when considering: 1) Best Flow 2) Best Price 3) Best sounding (For all the ricers out there ) Any friendly advice and help will be great!

If i had a full turbo back exhaust and pod filter in conjunction with this mod on my R33 GTS-T, would it be safe to say that the boost would be around 9-10psi all the time? Thus making my yearning to up the boost to 10psi or so with a boost controller redundant? Im sorry, I dont know a lot about these turbo things you young chaps speak of...

Awesome, Do you have any pics of the VR4? I would be interested to see. In terms of power/fun/economy/comfort, would you choose an R33 over a VR4?

Just out of interest Vrfour, Do you indeed have a VR4? I was interested in getting one of those a while ago, but have since opted out of it, mainly due to their age etc.

I have considered doing that, but would rather be able to see the car in the flesh before the purchase. And yeah, i think they do that sort of thing also.

How do people get flames shooting out of their exhausts? One of my mates put a spark plug in his exhaust...But he was a bogan.

Ok, so I am currently 20 and have wanted an R33 Skyline for quite some time now. I have been working two jobs as well as studying, and have been saving my cash like a madman. While I would love an R33 now, i think its the best to wait for another 3 or 4 months when I will be off my P's and be legally able to drive the car. I went into Carizma a few weeks ago now to have a look at some cars and to generally suss out what they were like etc. Honestly speaking, I was impressed. I met David who was only too happy to show me a few of the cars and spend a bit of time talking to me. After checking out how shit/dodgy some import caryards are, It was a welcome change to see Carizma. The cars all looked great and were reasonably priced. In short, I will be going back to see David in a few months when I am ready to buy. Check them out! Adam.

Fantastic. At this point, I wanted to compile a handbook for Victoria. It could have information such as: 1) Legal ride heights 2) Light vehicle modification (as scathing has mentioned) Im thinking this could include things that we most commonly get defected for -Pod filters -Intecoolers -Exhausts -Numberplate position etc etc etc....(Please add more to the list) 3) Your rights if police ask to search your car any more please add them to the list and lets get this handbook complied.

Hi everyone, Im not sure if this has been done before, so i hope for the best. There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding certain laws relating to our vehicles. Lets face it, Skylines, as with a lot of other cars, tend to stand out like dogs balls, especially to the boys in blue, and as such, people in 'hotted up cars' are associated with the media's portrayal of hoon behaviour and are subsequently targeted. With this in mind, Why don't we compile a glovebox manual with relevant sections of legislation to protect us and ensure we know what is expected of both us as well as the police. The glovebox manual could have information concerning our rights as well as our responsibilities. The manual could prevent some police heavy handedness, and as such could benefit the greater car enthiusiast community. Your input as to what laws/legislation/statutes etc should be included would be greatly apprecieted.

I find Prepsol works wonders for any kind of wax/grease removal. I always make sure I have a tin in teh garage.

Im from Victoria. Thanks for the welcomes. I can't wait for my skyline. I have driven a friends SR20 Silvia, and it went quite well. Being the first turbo car I have driven i was surprised at the bottom end torque when compared to NA. Theres nothing like that turbo sound hey?
