  1. Hi Jason, How is Jamie and the boys down at waterhouse Auto care? I haven't dropped in to see him in ages! I must stop by with a jimmy and cola one day and catch up. S13 looks like it has the goods mate, and Jamie has heaps of experience with both 120Y's and rallying, which I'm guessing is where you met him? Is Rae still driving his 120 or has he been back in the series? Good luck out there mate and remember, Stay sidewayz Kidz, Dan.
  2. Looks like I will only be coming as an "assistant" at this stage. I could get the car going in time but it won't be quite right... and experience tells me that the only outcome from "not quite right" is disapointing and usually quite expensive. So I have decided to leave the girl parked in the garage, where she can't break anything I am hopefully still going to come down and if I do am happy to help out where ever I can be used. Last time I had a lot of fun at pit exit ensuring that Neil and JP happened to find themselves rubbing elbows for the same peice of real estate. Although this didn't help me find my way out onto said real estate even if in the passengers seat.
  3. Damn, Damn, Damn... I may have to bring the wife's car out for a lap or two... Stupid silly modified cars.
  4. Looks like we might be out, I have managed to pick up some hard to spell disease and it will be unlikely that I'll be any better by friday.
  5. Don't suppose you have before and after shots Brad? I think I know where you are talking about, but I'm just not 100% sure.
  6. I'll take it if not already gone... I'll just have to drive another car if the skylines not done.
  7. Yeah cool, post the pics up as soon as you can man, there are lots of people that can offer advice, plenty of heads here that have learnt by being burnt.
  8. I would be happy to pay the extra $30 for the ambo, which also means we can pay a little extra again and have timing... this works well for your $50 bet, as I'm very happy to take bribes to ensure lap times tumble he he. Sounds like fun, I'll see how the funds go. You should post up some pictures of your ride... I love the 350 Skyline. Stay Sidewayz Kidz, Dan.
  9. Sorry, just another quick question, will there be medical (ambo) on the day? I think if you have 20 cars or less it is optional?
  10. Hello there kidz... Nice project there oh large one... I might have to drop in for a look see if you have it home one day.
  11. Where and who do we pay our hard earned too?
  12. Cheers Neil, You will have to come out for a look see again one day, I believe you even get free entry, and if you're real nice I might even let you come in our pits for free too! hehe Ahhh the good old day's... gee I miss them, but the good new days are fun also...
  13. Just to avoid further confusion Still a good deal even if you don't get to drive!
  14. Or Should that be... I'm BACK!?!?!?
  15. Did someone say Beer? I'm IN!
  16. We will be there again in the Drift Z. Click here for Drift Z passenger ride info Love these nights, Last time we had 3 guys come out with us and I lost track of how many laps they had in the end. We got some good testing data too, so a win win event for us, and a very well run event also! I just wish we had more tyres, we smoked 6 brand new sets of rears (12 tyres) in 3 hours and had to drift on bald tyres for the last hour (well 45 mins of it anyway). We will not make that mistake again... Get out there kidz, it is a blast and everyone I speak to says that it just simply rocks. Stay Sidewayz Kidz, Dan.
  17. Hey Guys and Girls, Have you every wanted to see what it feels, sounds, and smells like to sit in a Drift Australia car at full noise on Eastern Creek's Drift Australia Circuit? Have you every thought how much fun would it be in a fully prepared drift car, flat in 4th gear, and kick the clutch as you enter one of the fastest corners on the track? Have you wondered what it would be like to only be able to see the ripple strip and grass on the inside of the corner as you do this? Well if you have then read on! The Sureflo Drift Team in conjunction with Driving Sports have come up with a taster ride to get you out on the track in their Drift Z, and I'll be steering to make sure you are truly scared The Drift Z. 18. Damn, I'll have to get this gearbox sorted and the skyzer tuned and hurry up about it or I'll miss out on a spot.
  19. Ok, Lot's of fiddling and tinkering done again tonight... not suppose to be playing until Sunday but that bloody bug bit me again... and to listen to the burble of the RB30/25DET crackle through the 3 inch dump pipe back straight through exhaust just gets me going every time... Now, where did I put that bloody Profect B user guide... I need to change the set up from internal to external wastegate! Ghostrider, PM returned my friend. Stay Sidewayz Kidz, Dan.
  20. Well I made progress and the Skylines is ready for tuning now, But I still need a gearbox, and no 3rd gear at Wakie would suck I recon. I'll have to take my chances with a spot.
  21. It's July, in wakefield. Being a FREEZING day is one thing that can be offered with a money back guarantee! Means cooler breaks and engines though. And Cooler tyres. ;p
  22. Liz, You're on, we can compare notes while we wait to be pulled from the kitty litter. This exhaust should be easily legal for the track, I have a Turbo back 3 inch system with no mufflers or hot dogs or cats or anything and it scrapes in for legal. (Also have a 3lt bottom end with lots of torques just like you ) As for on the road to and from the track... could be touch and go, I would guess over if you were tested... however it should be noted that most cat back 3 inch skyline systems fail when correctly tested. Have a good day and Stay Sidewayz Kidz, Dan. PS. Sunday tomorrow and we are off looking for gearboxes...
  23. Lol, well I'll see how we go mate, got a fair bit to get done, including some body work. Is there rules against running without a front bar?
  24. It is pretty pricey, but hey, it's cheaper than driving to Wakefield. There seems a really good vibe with the drivers that we want to make this work and to make EC the new home for drifting in Sydney... Hopefully one day we might even get some positive media recognition too for the off street activities that we partake in. Do you mean GTR Jason? He took the co pilots seat for a spin, then he dissapeared pretty quick, I think he was scared out the back where he couldn't see the track, lol. :poke: Stay Sidewayz Kidz!
  25. I did promise Neil that I would try to make this day... Turbo is on now 7 weeks to go... Still need to; 1/ Redesign AFM to Turbo pipe. 2/ Change all fluids/filters 3/ Find and replace gearbox (broken 3rd gear is no good) 4/ Buy some tyres... costly bit 5/ Engine tune 6/ Wheel Alignment 7/ Fit Second seat/harness 8/ Fit Oil Cooler 9/ Repair body damage (good chance this will be left out, lol) Think that's it... lol, should be easy working 6 days a week... bring on Sunday's!
