I have to agree with both roy and Oz... how much do you pay for doing 80km's over the speed limit... and that is if you still have the speed cut on your car... I have done over 200 on race circuits and have not been booked yet!!! I have only ever done 20 kms over on a public road... and been booked 4 times. nuf said! I also contacted moto concepts and have not heard back yet.

When I joined SAU at the last eastern creek track day we selected a sticker and apparently we get a mambership card. Hey guys, Well he said that it will depend on each individual car... but he said that he would look after us. His quote on my car was on not seeing it for about 4 weeks and all parts were to stay on the car. SO, Jimbo, Yours would probably be the same roughly. Kabab, If the bar can be sprayed on the car then it should be around $130. to do the scratch if it is just a spray in the same colour (which it obviously will) then probably around $80-$120? Has anyone got any other estimates or should I start talking a bit more seriously to this guy? Dan.

Hey Duncan, Just spoke to a shop that I know, have seen his work and it is very good. He said that it would vary from car to car also, which might make things easier in a way. Some rough prices he gave me if we can get him 5 to 10 cars to do are as follows; My car (full respray of front & rear bar and side skirts plus touch up): $600 approx. Front bar Remove Spray and Fit: $300 approx Respreay and touch up (Front bar still on car): $130 approx Brush touch up (I think it was the whole car): $100 approx Call me on 0414 195 896. Dan.

when my car came from Japan I think it took 15 days on the boat... then sat in customs for 3 weeks (well only 20 days) and was cleared with out a hassle apparently. complience took only three days, but the engineer (who signs off that the work has been properly done) only came around once a week, so it was another 6 days before he came back... then had to book an appointment for the third teir inspecting with the RTA (not sure how melb works on this one) and wait another 4 days for this. all up form the day it left Japan it took 6 weeks and 6 days untill I was able to take it home and put it in my drive way. And everything ran smoothly and I didn't have to ship it anywhere... one problem along the way can be big delays. Hope this helps... I remember what this time was like for me... it'll kill you waiting!

Both Duncan and Dino are correct. But I have to sway more to Duncans side. They don't put as much into the drive days because they are simply more work for them... the ride days fill up about 2 months before the event date and they also get less drop outs... look at it from a business point of veiw and I wouldn't focus on the drive days so much either. They cut the drive days back for that reason and the fact that they didn't get as many day that they could hire the tracks. I'll be collecting deposits of $50 which are non-refundable on Sunday the 2nd of Feb at Carpark 6C at Hombush between 2pm and 4pm. If you don't have a deposit then you won't be included in the numbers given to MotoConcepts and thus won't have a spot saved for you. I'll try to get prices today. Dan.
