  1. I meant make them swap the whole car not stuff around. I'm staying strong and wont pay a cent, that's for sure. Just shitty timing right after buying it and them not knowing their stuff.
  2. Its a ground issue. Either you have put a screw in a place it shouldn't go into your deck and therefore making a cercuit fault, or you just haven't ground the deck to the right place. Check those things mate.
  3. Issue is back just as before. Have the car back to them..again. This time I got them to admit they don't so much know what they are doing and need to tourbleshoot the issue properly. What I really need is to find someone who knows this CVT gearbox properly or has fix the same issue before. Either way I'm spitting chips and want to swap it for a manual (and somehow make the missus agree).
  4. Ok... you can start the "I told you so's"....
  5. Hey, sorry to necro this again, but a few people went unanswered who wanted one. I saved mine made from lofty before my 33 went to the wreckers. If anyone in WA wants to buy mine they are welcome to make an offer. Doesn't do me any good in the V35 (like I don't have boot space to spear ). Just like I said to begin with, and anyone who snapped one up, they are awesome. Save space and fit/look great.
  6. Yeah, I'm doing my reading on what's been said about it before. I cross examined the dealers about the issues to make sure of just that. I don't have any issues with the mechanic that worked on the car, just everyone else I'd had to deal with. I'm not sure you mind sounding like a pessimist or telling me I told you so lol. At the end of the day, I think it would be a bit of a knee jerk reaction to off sell it when it suits the family, is very nice and we have a top AWN warranty covering it too. I know by acknowledging it means I'm even more open the the 'I told you so's
  7. Heh, yeah it's worth while. What should I be using?

    V35 Cruise

Well I'm keen to see one happen, so I might as well put my hand up. I've never organised a cruise before but I've worked as an event manager so I'm sure it's within my means if theres the time. What has to be put together?
  9. Bummer, if anyone drops out let me know and I'll fill the spot. Few days after birthday can me my pressie to myself and have some fun.
  10. Ok, the good news is it's all fixed… somehow. The story goes, from the mechanic, that he notice a second error regarding a break switch. Something along the lines of the circuit has four point and 2 are complete even when the breaks aren't on and that's where an error was starting. Once he had fixed that the other problem has totally gone. Which it has…somehow. His explanation was he thinks that when the car thinks the breaks are on it detunes in a way, like it is sensing a slip… somehow. The best part at least is that we have sorted it about and it's running like a dream again. I guess I went though all those worse case feelings for nothing but it evens out because we have the car back. Even if they used almost half a tank of fuel testing it over 3 days.
  11. Whats covered on the training day?
