You're welcome to come and test fit it if you like. Pretty sure the weather shields would fit an S1 coupe, haven't had a chance to look for the clips though Cheers

  7. has front bar been painted yet?
  8. Yeah these days it probably is! You're 4 months too late buddy this phone sold ages ago.
  9. Now i'm playing Test Drive Unlimited. I want a really nice, simple, fun driving game. This is not too bad, but the gear controls suck!! At least all the cars are real. There's a nice ZTune 350Z i wanna get my hands on. I wonder if they gave a GTR?
  10. Haha Soldat. The only game installed on my laptop so far, so pretty much only playing that. Its addictive!
  11. Definitely. Seems these things are happening more frequently these days. But yeah, over a 10k 200sx is pretty weird...
  12. Also seems that the search is broken
  13. I understand your dilemma... i say, just do it
  14. True that! They tested for water and metals as well... attached is the rundown of tests they did. Their analysis was : "All wear levels appear within acceptable limits for first sample. Silicon level (dirt/sealant material) satisfactory. Water content acceptable. Fuel dilution at problem level. Viscosity within specified operating range. Action: Change oil and filter(s) if not already done. Check fuelling system. Resample 250 hrs to monitor and establish wear trend." Thanks for the tip, i'll get that compression test done as well
  15. Hey mate, i'm in the bankstown area. I found this place; http://powertune.com.au/ they're close to me, but seems pretty pricey @ $110ph for diagnosis. A friend of mine encouraged me to get my oil analysed because my oil (motul 300v) changed colour quite quickly ( i dont do many km's in my car ), plus it developed what seems to be a small hesitation at low revs but high throttle... dunno if that's related or not, but he insisted that i should get the oil analysed good thing too i guess. Anyway, i dropped the motul oil, and filled up with some cheaper stuff to get me by, hopefully i can get a workshop to find the problem without costing big bucks
  16. I got the analysis done by a mob called e-monitor http://www.e-monitor.com.au/ The lab they used was ALS... Autosport, is that these guys at Kirrawee? http://www.autosport.net.au/contact.htm
  17. Hey Guys, I just got my oil analysis back, I've got serious fuel contamination in the engine oil. Basically, i need some recommendations on a place in Sydney that can check my injectors (are they leaking?) and other fuel components. I'm spewing, i put motul chrono in approx 4000 kms ago Please help! M
  18. It's a nice idea. Only downside is if your door remote battery dies, or stops working for whatever reason then wouldn't you be stuck having to smash your way in?
  19. I'd be keen
  20. That's alright! You'd have to be stupid to say no to that i reckon
  21. Thanks for the replies guys, Thanks John, I was looking at the Ian Luff courses, and the driving solutions also seems pretty good. I guess it's just a matter now of finding a date that suits me So if we say that the Ian Luff (IL) and Driving Solutions (DS) Stages 1 & 2 are pretty similar, how is the IL Stage 3 (performance driving) course. Is that the equivalent of "Race School" at DS? As for the rally school, my brother in law came out about a month ago and said it was heaps of fun. M
  22. Yeah mate, i'm already signed up for the Texi While the SAU days can be very informative, and the guys i've had with me in the car can be very helpful, at the end of the day the focus is really on track time. On driver training i'd expect to have a lot more focus on technique and the theory behind it. Not to mention they'd have prepared scenarios for you to encounter to induce over/understeer and provide instruction on dealing with it etc.
  23. Hey Guys, I've wanted to do an advanced driver training course to improve my skills and understanding of my car and how best to handle it. I was wondering what the recommendations are in regards to training companies etc around Sydney. Also, are there any SAU affiliated places? Or could we perhaps organise a NSW club training day? Keen to hear feedback Marcus
  24. Hahaha, that's awsome You should build a skid pan out the back too Did you get a recording of the sound?
